[player_tooltip player_id='243900' first='Kali' last='Barrett'] put on a scoring display in Atlanta that wont be forgotten. Barrett launched 31 points and pulled down 12 rebounds. At the She Got Game tournament, Barrett put on a fireworks show by herself. She had the jump shot working and she got to the rim- drawing the foul, bullying past smaller guards, and speeding by bigger forwards. Barrett was explosive on the boards, grabbing rebounds over every for the double-double. Barrett flirts with a double double every time she steps on the floor. She had some amazing defensive plays including a steal at the top and a coast to coast reverse layup for the finish.

Alanna Pinnock is one of the top Freshman in the State and after the last two weeks, the Freshman is making a case as one of the top players in the 2028 class. Pinnock came into the tournament averaging over 18 points per game, 4.3 assists per game and 5.3 steals per game. The Freshman leads her team in several major categories. The trust her teammates have in her is very impressive and very telling. On a rebound, her teammate looked for Pinnock on the outlet pass. Pinnock takes the pass and goes coast to coast for a midrange jumper. Pinnock was plays very calm. She attacks with a quiet confidence and with and showed an ability to put the ball down and get to the rim with basic and crafty finishes. On the defensive end , Pinnock was defending the point guard on the ball and she also defended the small forward (both elite players) position well.

Ta'niya Davis was shooting the ball with authority this past weekend and was one of the best shooters in the building. Davis was also strong on the inside and made several shots through contact. She also impressed everyone on some of her passes with touch and good court vision. The Junior showed a lot of versatility playing on both sides of the court and playing the 1, 2, or the 3 position o tghe floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='214184' first='Jalynn' last='Belton'] was impactful in a lot of categories against Somerset Academy- Canyons. Belton got to the rim consistently and her ability to get to the rim created open looks for her teammates. Belton was excellent in the pick and roll game and created a lot of pressure on the defense. She threw a dime to the rolling player. Belton also was impressive in the transition game. She scored on a full court drive, stopped and shot a midrange from the top of the key, and finished one layup with a player draped all over her. Belton had it rolling at the New Years Classic.

[player_tooltip player_id='811751' first='Madi' last='Mignery'] overcame a gimpy ankle and delivered the fireworks in the ATL. Mignery had 25 points, and did a lot of damage from the post. As usual she played a physical game and battled for every rebound in reach. On offense, Mignery contributed behind the three point line, on the block, and flashing to the open spot on offense. Mignery also handled the ball and made some great passes in the transition game.

[player_tooltip player_id='430279' first='Jamison' last='Cardwell'] pulled out the Fireworks and did a lot of damage at the Potters House. She was a force in the rebounding department from the guard position, she was a playmaker who looked to get everyone involved in the offense early. Cardwell impressed with a few kickout passes to shooters and no-look passes to cutting teammates. As the game progressed, she started feeling it and was connecting on threes, midrange shots, and drives to the rim. Cardwell's performance was impressive and showed that she is a three level scorer who can pass the rock, and also do the little things on the court.
