Whenever I have seen highlights or stat lines from York High School this season, I have seen constant production from one of their main PG's, [player_tooltip player_id='817148' first='Kinslee' last='Kern']. Kern understands what it means to be a solid overall competitor out on the court. Not only is she someone that enjoys playing basketball, it seems like she enjoys to watch it just as much and that can help players learn the game as they grow up. It's early on but you can tell from even just a year ago that Kern has gotten better with time and experience. If she continues on this path, she is going to be someone we continue to speak about for the next two years of her high school career.

Alma High School has had some noteworthy moments this Winter prior to the Playoffs and someone that has been a key in those big moments most of the time is PG, [player_tooltip player_id='865335' first='Kamryn' last='Scott']. Scott is an accurate passer with either hand, a natural scoring threat, and a smart individual in the clutch moments of contest. She is also a player that can speed up the tempo and rhythm of things or she can slow it down if her team wants to run some sort of set. Hopefully during AAU season I'll have a chance to stop in and see Scot compete with her Laser's program. The Lasers seem to alway have some solid pieces that can play at the next level so I'm sure it will be worth the visit.

[player_tooltip player_id='1143194' first='Sira' last='Doumbia'] has a lot of raw talent. Doumbia, a powerful 2027 Center prospect, has the frame to become special with the right guidance. Sometimes you have prospects or programs that might lie about a players height on a roster but Doumbia is a true 6'3, with the muscle mass to go along with it. Her hands and her coordination are not bad at all either. When it comes to the term, "stacking days", that is really what Doumbia needs to continue to do in her off-seasons. If she can do that, she could become someone that no one will be able to handle in the paint, somewhere down the line.

Another young prospect, that should have a delightful AAU season with her [program_tooltip program_id='715980' first='Team' last='Iowa'] program is CG/PG, [player_tooltip player_id='908318' first='Rylee' last='Boggess'] of Vinton Shellburg High School. Boggess has been getting better and better as the high school season has been going on. Not only does the film prove that but the numbers do as well. As recent as last week. Boggess recorded a double-double for her VS program. This is only the start to things. I think over the next 3.5 years that this is someone who could make strides in the right situations. Now it's all about staying locked in.

[player_tooltip player_id='899160' first='Josie' last='D'Agosto'] is only a freshman but she is currently competing on the JV level and really putting up numbers each night. This type of play is going to set up for D'Agosto to be on the Varsity roster as a sophomore, possibly even getting some playing time depending on the roster situation. If you are trying to categorize D'Agosto's play-style, she is efficient near the hoop with good understanding of when she should try to take over. Over-time, if she can start to demonstrate a more aggressive attitude, I think it could help her feast on both ends. Either way, when she does start to see big varsity minutes, it'll be exciting to observe what she can do. She has promise for her age. Now it's all about utilizing it.
