In Area IV is just that case. Newcastle ranked #6 and second seed in the area enters the playoffs as one of the hottest teams in Class 4a with big wins over several ranked teams. Area IV is also loaded with contenders that have also had their share of big wins. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Preview: Lincoln Christian</strong> enters the playoffs on a 16 game winning streak. Four of those wins have been against ranked teams with two of those wins against 6a who does not ranked their teams during the regular season. <strong>Newcastle</strong> since the Christmas break has won 11 out of the last 13 games. Five of those 11 wins have been against ranked teams. The two losses coming to Mustang and Washington. <strong>North Rock Creek</strong> has 6 quality wins over ranked teams including a stretch in January where they rolled off 4 in a row against ranked teams. They also picked up a big road win over 5a contender Shawnee couple weeks ago. <strong>Harrah</strong> has 4 wins over ranked teams including a tournament win over Duncan who could be considered the hottest team in class 5a. An improved team that increased their win total this year by 7 games <strong>Holland Hall</strong> could be the dark horse in this area as they have came very close on several occasions of pulling off a major upset. In January they reached the finals of Bruce Grey with a win over 6A Deer Creek finishing runner up with a 5 point lost to #2 ranked Douglas. <strong>Berryhil</strong>l is a team that at times was ranked among the Top 20. Winners of 7 out of their last 9 games. This team that has scorers and is much improved this season. <strong>Perkins-Tyron</strong> is another team that at one times was among the Top 20 is a aggressive team that has athletes, shooters, and size to make some noise in regionals. <strong>Mount St Mary </strong>is having their best season in years. Mount has an elite scorer and several new pieces that could them a team to watch out for in regionals. <strong> Blanchard</strong> took a hit in mid season with their leading scorer transferring out to another school.
