Bishop McNamara cruised by Elizabeth Seton in the first game of the day. [player_tooltip player_id='239453' first='Zhen' last='Craft'] had a nice game on both ends. Zhen does a great job moving without the ball and getting easy buckets. She was aggressive in the paint and forced Seton into a few fouls. She finished with 11 points.

Bishop McNamara's defense seems to suffocate teams in many games, and I think [player_tooltip player_id='838920' first='Nyair' last='McCoy'] plays a big part in that. She is a pest and puts a lot of pressure on opposing guards. McNamara completely blew the game open early in the third quarter, and Nyair's defense was a big reason why. She forced a handful of turnovers in the backcourt and turned them into easy buckets.

[player_tooltip player_id='625375' first='Morgan' last='Stewart'] was St. John's only consistent source of offense in this game.
[player_tooltip player_id='302530' first='Nyla' last='Brooks'] missed a handful of shots she usually makes early in this game. She started to get going as the game went on, and Ireton's late third and early 4th quarter run was in large part due to her. She hit a couple of tough shots in the paint and was outstanding defensively. She had a few blocks and didn't settle that much in the second half. She ended with 15 points.
