Kara attends Chapman HS in the Upstate. She was able to contests shots here today out on the perimeter. Kara connected on some short jumpers when she wasn't looking to post up with her back to the basket. Senior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='257992' first='Teonna' last='Draughn']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='429827' first='Tamira' last='Delaney'] </strong>are teammates at AC Flora HS in Columbia. Draughn really plays the game with some savvy and quickness. Teonna has good quick in the open court and some shifty ball skills on the way to the cup. Tamira plays her best basketball going to the bucket and collecting putbacks along the way. Mazyck a left-handed guard-wing attends Wando HS (Mount Pleasant) really likes to drive to the cup. Malaya was looking to attack the basket by slashing. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Williams and Friends Stand Tall for [program_tooltip program_id='713840' first='Charleston' last='Raptors']</em></strong>: </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='366551' first='DaNariyah' last='Williams']</strong> continues her good play from the State Championship Game for Military Magnet to Grassroots basketball this weekend. Williams does whatever she needs to do for her team. At times today she played down in the paint, grabbed a rebound, took the ball in transition up the floor and finished at the bucket all in a matter of 9 seconds. DaNariyah has really expanded her game to more driving to the bucket and putting the ball on the deck. Gray does a little bit of everything on the floor at times. She really takes pride in defending the ball. Madison brings some toughness and a feisty attitude to the floor at times. She was able to pull-out a nice drop step move at times when she wasn't looking to connect on a short jumper from the baseline. Brie looks to battle inside for position and stir up contact for the [program_tooltip program_id='715412' first='SC' last='Eagles']. She does an excellent job of keeping the ball up high after getting a rebound. Carson really had to take on the burden of the load down low today with <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='850202' first='Laila' last='Harvey']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1228080' first='Sydni' last='Anderson']</strong> not in attendance. Hanna HS in Anderson. Tamiyah was really settling in on shots from the perimeter today. Sweet and Turner both play their best basketball out at the three-point line. Sweet didn't play much in the first half with being in foul trouble here today. Turner returned to the Woodruff HS lineup this year after having a bad right knee.
