[player_tooltip player_id='643486' first='Jhaliana' last='Guy'] and her Mac Irvin Fire 16U squad went down to Texas this past weekend and they showed out. Guy, a 5'10 PG/SG, had her full arsenal on display offensively. She was mixing up her personal defender in 1v1 matchups off the bounce and that led to either a jumper or score at the bucket by herself in some sort of way. If the defense went to double or over-play, Guy would always find the open teammate on her crew for an open look. Not to mention, she made some impactful plays on the defensive side of the ball as well. She used her smarts and quick movement to create chaos, which helped her team create turnovers. There are a lot of factors as to why Guy is so talented and why she was so sought after prior to her commitment to Stanford. The main two things being her athletic ability and the rate that she can shoot the basketball from distance. I've worked with some great shooters at all levels over my career. High school, college, and pro. Guy is turning out to be one of the best I've seen at shooting the basketball. Now she just needs to keep working.

Coming off of an impressive Freshman campaign and [player_tooltip player_id='957840' first='Savanna' last='Wright'] of [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] 15U EYBL has picked up right where she left off. Wright is creating and facilitating, rebounding efficiently, defending like her life depends on it, and she is scoring the rock when certain opportunities present themselves. Within her team's system, there is a lot of running and transition buckets but Wright also understands when it's time to slow down and run offense comparatively. She knows to control as much as she can in any given moment. If she can continue to do that, I'm sure she will be fielding some collegiate offers before you know it.

[player_tooltip player_id='920273' first='Samantha' last='Dorrity'] made the move this AAU season to North Tartan EYBL and it's seemingly going well. Dorrity is a focal point on her 15U EYBL team. She is a force that her team tries to get the ball to in favorable position near the paint. If she can catch within 5-7Ft of the bucket, it's usually going to end up in a good attempt for the group with Dorrity's natural height. Her versatile has also been top notch so far this Spring. She has been running the floor, positing when she can, or she can even step out to screen and roll. She is someone that is willing to step out and defend multiple positions on the three point line as well. As you can tell, Dorrity has a few options on the hardwood and North Tartan has done a respectable job of playing to those strengths.

Everyone is soon to find out about [player_tooltip player_id='920716' first='Bentley' last='Dill'], if they don't know the name already. Dill has been lighting the nets on fire this AAU season so far with her catch and shoot ability from three. Dill is the type that can also handle, defend, and rebound pretty well at the same time but she definitely stands out to most because of how many attempts she will make from distance if the defense doesn't tag her early on as a shooter. During the high school season, Dill is asked to do a lot more because of the roster that is built around her but during AAU she can just be herself and that lets her really shine as a prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1186492' first='Brooklyn' last='Hughes'] of Akron-Westfield and Swarm AAU Basketball is going to be a player we hear more and more about as the years go on. Hughes is listed as a 5'6 PG/SG, who can really do whatever is asked of her. Whether that is controlling the teams tempo with her pace of play and distributing to others or she can make some magic happen herself, usually leading for a solid attempt in one way or another from at the rim or in the mid-range. With Brookyln's sister just starting to play at Simpson this upcoming Fall, I think she will continue to learn in this game of Basketball. If she stays motivated, she should turn out to be a respectable advisory by the time she gets into her Sophomore season this upcoming Winter.
