The Fairfax Stars have been mainstays in the DMV for years and one one the nations longest standing Nike programs. They are headquartered in Northern Virginia and house teams starting from baby ballers to rising seniors. With a heavy emphasis on skill development in the younger age groups there have been many players that have only worn a Fairfax Stars jersey from the time they picked up a basketball and became division one players and even all-Americans and professional ball players. Here's some of the Fairfax Stars that will have a close eye on them this summer.

Demi is a long wing that can go from back the basket to facing up to hitting a three. Being left handed, she seems to throw off defenders with her drives as many lefties do. She is an excellent rebounder and starts the break off of the board without hesitation. She has the size to make the transition smoothly to college.

Samantha is one of the more accurate shooters in the region. She has a good touch and is almost automatic when left open. Because of her height and quick release it doesn't take much space at all for her to be considered open. She looks good in a Fairfax Stars uniform and the move is mutually beneficial to both sides.

Monet returns to the Stars after a great summer last season. If she builds off of her previous success she should be considered a priority get for college coaches. She has great control and vision playing the point and super long range shooting the three when she wants to let it fly. She is a zone buster that literally needs to be picked up at half court.

Reneyia is a strong physical guard that is probably stronger than most any guard that she will face on the high school level. She uses her strength and body well to shield and protect the ball, she also can take smaller guards down low in the paint. With the perimeter firepower that the Stars have, they don't need her outside shooting as much, which makes her more of a threat because you can't stop everyone.

Mya draws a lot of comparisons to WNBA player Angel Reese, in my opinion, Mya is better than Reese was at this stage of high school. She is a superior athlete with a 6'3" frame and she can attack well from the wing. As she continues to develop she will be a nightmare for any player as she has multiple natural mismatches in place.

Alyna is a natural point guard that makes really good decisions on the floor. She has always been a really good shooter and one of the smartest players in the game. She plays good position defense and has the ability to take over a game when she's not looking to involve her teammates. She's the type of player that every program needs and coaches love to have on the floor.

Kendall moves well without the ball and is a good shooter off the catch. She is a solid perimeter defender and plays well within the team system. Playing EYBL over the summer will give her the experience needed to take her game to the next level as she will be playing with and against a lot more college level players that she sees at her high school.

Adora can make you pay for leaving her open as she can effortlessly and consistently step in to the three, You must be careful because when stepping up to close to guard the three, you risk having her blow past you in a drive to the basket. She can play both guard positions and even has the size to match up at the wing as well. She is one of the most versatile players in the DMV.

Lee comes from an athletic family and plays with an endless amount of energy. She is one of the best defenders in the area and a really good rebounding guard. She has range out to the three and is fast with the ball in transition. Having her on any team makes them immediately better.
