Summer Preview Vol 3: Germantown Lady Panthers

The Germanton Lady Panthers are more than a local club from Montgomery County, Maryland, they are an elite program that is respected across the nation, currently running under the Under Armor logo. When you join the Panthers you join a family that seem to care about their players outside of just basketball. There have been multiple all-American's that have came through the GLP family and no matter where they finished they still consider themselves part of the family.    Alexandra has everything that you would want from a wing. She has size at 6'1", she can stretch the floor with her shot and she can defend the position. She is also pretty good in the paint. The [program_tooltip program_id='714370' first='Germantown' last='Lady Panthers'] will give her the opportunity to showcase her talent on a national stage against elite level talent.     Morgan has shot up dramatically in the class rankings and for good reason, the do everything guard has emerged from the shadows of some of the all-Americans she's played behind and is showing what she is actually capable of. She has excellent size for a guard and the skill and ability to contribute to a college program today. Lucky for us she has another high school season to complete.     Laila has a good touch on her shot from the mid range and beyond the three. She is a good on ball defender with quick hands. She is a good finisher around the basket and has a knack for finding the gaps in defenses to get open.     Alyssa can pop the three off the dribble or off the catch. She has been putting up good numbers during the high school season and she will look to continue the solid play at the GUAA Rise Session 1 this weekend followed by the Takeover Cinco De Mayo to start off May.     Mya is strong in side and uses her strength to gain rebounding position. Even when she doesn't have the position advantage she still is able to somehow come away with the board a lot of times. She has really good timing to block shots and has the ability to have double digit block games.     Kelsey has a consistent form on her shot whether she's shooting from six feet out or twenty feet out it's still the same. She protects the ball well at the point and shows a lot of hustle on the defensive end.
