[player_tooltip player_id='509225' first='Averie' last='Lower'] has put together an impressive start to the 2025 AAU season on the road. During the last Live Period Lower was unconscious from three point land, hitting shot after shot from deep at a steady rate. If you are familiar with Lower's game style, this is nothing new. One of the best players that the state of Iowa has to offer, Lower can get it going in a hurry if you let her see one go in. She has been playing really well lately and that's why she has recently picked up an over to Marquette in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is another noteworthy offer to add to the pile for Lower. At this rate, she will have 25-30 to choose from at the end of the day.

Last week [player_tooltip player_id='764451' first='Macey' last='O'Brien'] notched her first D1 offer to Chicago State in Illinois. O'Brien, a 5'10 PG, is going to be a viable option for several Division-1 teams at the end of the day. It's just going to come down to her fit over everything else. O'Brien is someone that could be considered pass-first as a PG but with her natural reach, she is also a solid option to score herself on the offensive end. This same reach helps her on defense as well. She gets her hands on a lot of tips/deflections and she has the ability to switch between who she is guarding in most situations. This versatility is going to be a key factor to her success for the rest of her high school career and into the next level of college ball.

The tallest prospect that the state of Iowa has to currently offer just received an impressive offer from D3 - Wartburg. This is the top of the top when it comes to D3 offers from both a state and national perspective. The Wartburg crew plays some flawless basketball at times and their system in which they get players acclimated seems to be fool-proof. Amble obviously brings a lot of potential on both sides of the floor at 6'4/6'5. She moves really well for her size and she demonstrates some coordinated balance. If she continues to work on her touch and the mental side of the game, she could be a killer for years to come on the hardwood.

The #1 2026 recruit out of the state of Nebraska picked up two Division-1 offers this past week with how well she has been playing this AAU season. Those offers being from Cornell and St. Bonaventure. Paben is ranked #1 for a reason. She has size, athletic ability, physicality, smarts, touch, and a ton of skill at 6'1. She can kill you with her back to the basket, she can move and catch out of the mid post for an attack, or she can be used in the screen and roll game. It's really whatever you want from her as a coach. Defensively, she has an act for jumping to the ball at a high rate with a better than average reaction time and she is someone that gets a lot of blocks near the paint when opponents don't pay attention to her. These are two great offers for Paben and I'm sure there is more to come.

[player_tooltip player_id='946938' first='Jenna' last='Benjamin'] is coming off of a State Title with Skutt Catholic. To following that has received from love from the D3 and NAIA loves at the college ranks. To end last week, Benjamin received one of her first offers to Grand View University out of Des Moines. As a recruit, this is a player that loves to get after it defensively. She can be a weapon in multiple ways on both sides of the ball but she really thrives as being a stopper on the defensive side. Her endurance, first step quickness, and willingness to be one of the first on the floor makes her a tough opponent to deal with for an entire contest. She is going to be a solid player when she gets to the college level, where-ever it may be because defense translates.

We have raved about Kaytee Irons and what she brings to the game for about two years now. It's nice to see her efforts being rewarded with her first official offer to NAIA - Doane University. Doane is a sneaky good program, that has solid coaching and great guidance for their young prospects. They do a great job of working on the fundamentals of the game and that shows in their live-game play. Irons is a natural at the PG position. She is selfless, an efficient facilitator with both hands going either directions, and she has elite vision in the open court. She can finish in a plethora of different ways when she gets into the teeth of the defense, it just depends what she is feeling in that moment. It'll be interesting to see how Irons finishes out this AAU season. If she plays to her full capacity, she should end the Spring/Summer with more offer in hand but we will see.
