Bennington has a deep underclassman group that is going to be around for years to come. Well now they will be upperclassmen officially come this Fall but you understand the point. Someone from their 2027 group that can really make it rain is SG - [player_tooltip player_id='920263' first='Skylar' last='Johnson']. Johnson deserves to get the Kyle Korver treatment for how well she shoots it at times. Which is, every time she sets 1 screen, she gets 4-5 in return within the offensive possession. If she can catch fire early, it could be a career night for her as the sharpshooter. Johnson has some college interest already and that will grow more over-time. She is dedicated and that is going to take her places before you know it.

The #3 rated Shooting Guard out of this 2027 Class is [player_tooltip player_id='865480' first='Addison' last='Bratt'] of Elkhorn North. Bratt's been on Varsity for a few years now because of her ability to get hot from the outside. Over-time she has added onto that ability and really rounded out her game in a few other places. Her handle is efficient, she keeps it simple, and she plays off of what the defense gives her ultimately. Offensively, she can either take things off the dribble or she can let it fly. She moves well without the ball so her opportunities don't take a long time. They happen quickly but they can be very impactful. There is a lot of room for Bratt to grow but with that being said, she is a solid player right now, who will be playing at the college level someday soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1044837' first='Leslie' last='Garcia'] makes the move this offseason moving to Lincoln SE High School for her remaining two years. The reality of the situation is that Gracia she of been a borderline starter on Varsity as a Freshman. Her mixture of length, athletic ability, situational awareness, and adaptability is eye-catching. When used in the right ways, this player is a difference maker in every definition of the phrase. I can't wait to see that on display over the next two years in her new program. She should be working inside-to-out at a high rate and finding a lot of success because of it. Southeast got a big pick up in this one. Just watch and see.

I like what I see from [player_tooltip player_id='865481' first='Gigi' last='Owens'] and how she physically controls the game. Owens is a lengthy and athletic PG at 6'0. She can move around the perimeter to almost any position but she is really at her best when she is in control. She possesses some raw and natural ability, she just needs to need working on the situational aspects of the game. If that comes together a little more, this is a steal for someone at the collegiate level. She checks off some impressive boxes, now it's all about stacking the days as she continues to work in the off-seasons.

Pius X is going to be looking for some leaders to step up once again this upcoming Winter and someone who should do a thorough job of that is [player_tooltip player_id='902885' first='Kendal' last='Heimes'] at the SG position. Heimes has great length for her position at the high school level at 5'10, she can defend multiple spots as a guard, she is always willing to make the extra pass, and she is always willing to do whatever is needed for her team to be successful. Heimes comes into this Update at #15, a respectable spot to be in moving into July with her [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] program.
