2029 Rankings Release - 1 to 10

It is time for the release of the first ever 2029 rankings. These are girls I was able to watch either on film due to their varsity play, or in person at a recent AAU event. Please keep in mind this is the first release and there will be many updates in the future. There will be many new additions and many that will move up and down as this class progresses throughout their high school careers.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/dakotas/rankings/north-dakota-rankings/2029-rankings/">FULL 2029 RANKINGS - CLICK ME!</a>    The thing that stands out the most to me about Hilary's game is her basketball IQ. She plays with such poise, which is incredible when you realize she just finished her 8th grade year. I really like how she handles the ball. She reminds me of how John Stockton used to handle the ball, nothing too flashy but very difficult to take the ball from. She is a good athlete as well, running up the floor hard and wide. Hilary is just scratching the surface.     Maya is going to be a really good high school player. She has a very athletic frame and strong legs. She has high basketball IQ, keeping space in the half court and moving naturally on the floor. She excels in her passing. She throws passes on time and on target in traffic. She is very good at throwing to posts' strong hand to create easy scoring opportunities.     Sisi is going to be a star on the varsity floor. She might have to wait one more year to show what she is really capable of, but it will be worth the wait. If she can embrace the process of being part of a really good team, she will have her time to show everyone how good she is. She is super athletic and has great length to her. She is a terrific defender and is really hard to drive on. She is an excellent ball handler with really good vision. She utilizes change of pace to get to the rim and to the free throw line. She has all the pieces to be the real deal.     Claire is playing up a grade on Sanford's top 15u team. She is a very solid athlete who plays low to the ground. Claire is a very good on-ball defender and does a great job of keeping her girl in front of her. She has a nice touch on her floaters to the rim and can knock down the outside three. Claire played up on the varsity for North this season as an 8th grader and is going to be a great player for the Spartans for years to come.     Macey has all of the tools to be a problem in the WDA for the next four years. She had an excellent 8th grade campaign. She led the Blue Jays in scoring at 10.6 points per game and netted 38 three pointers. She has a really nice looking shot and her percentages will improve as she grows stronger. She has an athletic frame and has a really good change of speed and pace. I predict Macey will be a multi-year All-Conference player.     Jada is a promising prospect and one I am eager to watch progress through high school.  She is a lanky lefty who does a nice job of getting to her strong hand and driving to the basket.  She runs the floor well in transition and can space the floor with her smooth shot.  She has the tools to be great defensively and will be fun to keep an eye on moving forward.     Vanessa has potential to be a big time college prospect. She has the physical tools that colleges look for: size, length, and running ability. She can move up and down the floor and has the ability to defend bigs and littles on the floor. She isn't afraid to shoot it from outside and has a nice looking shot. Vanessa will continue to improve and I predict she will make an impact on the varsity floor this coming season.     I really like the way Alli plays.  She is tough bulldog down low and is very physical.  She fights for positioning and uses her strength extremely effectively.  She played at key moments this season for [program_tooltip program_id='712656' first='Mandan' last=''] as only an 8th grader and I predict she finds herself in a starting role next season.  She will be a great double post option with fellow big [player_tooltip player_id='969855' first='AnnaClaire' last='Bugbee'].     Avery is already a star in the state and led the Cardinals to the state tournament in 2025. She has all of the tools to be a future All-State player and is an intriguing prospect due to how effective she is at such a young age. She is a very good outside shooter and someone who spaces the floor for her team. She runs well and has very long arms that makes her a very good defender. She slithers to the rim and can finish in traffic. Avery is very good.     The current number one prospect comes to us from Central Cass.  She isn't afraid of big moments, having played varsity the previous two seasons.  She was selected as an All-Region player this season and is only going to get better.  She has the ball on a string when she dribbles and can create her own shot whenever she wants.  She packages it all together with a great work ethic and desire to be great.
