Top 4 Shifts

A drawback to the rankings system is the difference between 1st and 4th can seem so far apart. When really, that gap can be extremely narrow. Order them in any order, and you'd hear no push back from me. (It's even possible a couple just outside the top 4 should be in the mix, making it a top 6 or 7). The key take away should be that current top ranked prospects in Oklahoma are REALLY good. And going to keep getting better. There will likely be more shifts in future rankings updates. But the hope is that all four keep producing, improving and shining for the hot bed that Oklahoma girls basketball has become.

Earned conference MVP honors as a freshman with stat stuffing lines throughout the size. Has prototypical size and athleticism for the highest levels of college basketball. Defensive whirlwind and strong all around scorer. Holmes is playing this summer nationally against 17U competition with Girls UAA Texas program, It's Fox Nation. Earned a recent offer from SMU. After her dominance at the Class 4A level in southern Oklahoma, is now expected to help jumpstart Muskogee in 6A. Where her father is the new head coach.

Dynamic two way wing. Graceful slasher off the bounce, with an improving jumper from deep. Consistent scorer throughout her freshman campaign, with moments of brilliance. Including a 28 points outburst against a stingy Mustang team, who would go on to be Class 6A runner ups. Helped Newcastle to a State Tournament appearance in Class 4A. Has been one of the top producers for a loaded LEGYNDS 16U team, that has pounded regional 17U teams. While going undefeated in girls Nike EYCL play. Offers should be on the way

The northern Oklahoma prospect is another freshman who absolutely filled the stat line during her debut high school season. Too fast, too skilled and too determined. Covers an insane amount of ground on the defensive end with blocks and steals. While also being an one woman press break. This spring has seen her take her offensive game to the next level. Especially her playmaking ability. Offers have started to pour in from Tulsa, Oral Roberts and Abilene Christian. More should come as along with the tangible production and traits, she has intangibles with infectious energy and enthusiasm.

Super skilled scoring guard, with quickness and unmatched handles. Money in the mid-range and from beyond the arc. Along with the ability to break the defense down to get into the lane for floaters and other finishes. Helped lead Douglass to a runner up finished in a loaded Class 4A. Entered high school already with offers from Oklahoma State, Mount Saint Mary's and Arkansas State. Simply an electric scorer. The sky's the limit.

Deep Next Tier

It really might be short changing to call the next 10-15 prospects the second tier. Because most of them have D1 type projections. And it's certainly prospect some of these prospects will push to be in the top tier. As most have already enjoyed State Tournament runs, huge AAU springs and more success. Westmoore's [player_tooltip player_id='992443' first='Aliyah' last='Prestridge'] is walking "TNT", with explosive play on both ends of the court. [player_tooltip player_id='913548' first='Jordyn' last='Richardson'] is a smooth guard, who can score at all three levels. With a willingness to get after it on the defensive end as well. [player_tooltip player_id='913569' first='Amara' last='King'] is another top tier athlete, with impressive speed for her size. While she has the power and height to play downlow, her perimeter game has taken rapid leaps.

While the talent is spread out throughout the state, with the 405 and small towns already being represented in this article. The Tulsa metro has top tier prospects as well. The Davis twins of Union, Jada and Mika have enjoyed strong springs with Girls EYBL program ProSkills. Both earning offers from the new staff at Oral Roberts. [player_tooltip player_id='913597' first='Azariah' last='Woodruff'] is another big time 918 prospect, she's another smooth guard. She has a State Championship already on her resume, as she carved out a key role for a loaded Lincoln Christian State team that won 4A.
