Cidney had a good day shooting the ball, and she did well creating her own offense. She showed three-level scoring ability and had 21 points in a win over Indian Creek. [player_tooltip player_id='691150' first='Taylor' last='Williams'] got off to a great start in this game offensively. She knocked down a few threes and showed off her touch near the rim. These past few days is the first time we've seen [player_tooltip player_id='804329' first='Adora' last='Nwude'] and [player_tooltip player_id='691150' first='Taylor' last='Williams'] play together, and I love the fit so far. Adora's defensive intensity was impressive, and she helped force a lot of turnovers. Adora was confident in her shot, and she knocked down a couple of threes without hesitation. She's a great athlete and can get to the rim when she wants. She moves better than the bigs she matches up with, and I like her activity on the glass. She blocked a few shots, and I saw her push the ball a few times in the open floor. Riley always does a great job making herself available for catch-and-shoot opportunities, and she is one of the most reliable shooters in the 2028 class in VA. Riley made a couple of nice passes, and you could see how much teams fear her shooting. Lauryn is a great example of someone who is elite off the ball without being a volume three-point shooter. Catholic runs plays for her as a cutter, and she does an excellent job at it. She can get her own on an iso with her size and athleticism. Nina didn't have her jump shot going today, but she bullied her way into some buckets in the paint. She's not a great athlete, but she finds ways to drive by defenders and get lay-ins at the rim. Nina is incredibly strong, and she uses her body in the paint to create space.
