As deep as the talent pool is in South Carolina, the Palmetto State is certainly no exception to that rule. A number of Palmetto State prospects balled out this past weekend at Run 4 Roses in Louisville and more are sure to do the same this coming weekend.

Many a name is certain to return to South Carolina with even more offers to mull over. Without further ado, here is our latest update on who is being recruited by whom.

We begin with an offer that took place last month. Foley – a standout junior at 5A Division 1 Ashley Ridge – announced midway through June that she landed an offer from Flagler. The Saints are based in Florida and compete in the Peach Belt Conference. Since then, she split her live period weekend between Louisville (Run 4 Roses) and Indianapolis (Under Armour Session II). FBC United Reign is set to take part this weekend at the Under Armour finals in Pennsylvania. Foley was previously part of the junior varsity team at Ashley Ridge but worked her way up to varsity status with the Swamp Foxes.

Nearly two weeks ago, this senior standout from 3A Chapman landed an offer from Neosho County Community College in Kansas. Twitty has proudly worn the [program_tooltip program_id='715412' first='SC' last='Eagles'] UA Rise 17U uniform throughout this year's travel campaign – which included a stop at on the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit at the Triumph Region Finals in Columbus, Georgia. Prior to that, she ran with KST Wolves in what will be her final go-round on the grassroots realm. Twitty is a two-sport athlete who has also competed in volleyball throughout her athletic career. She has played at the varsity level since she was an eighth grader and averaged 8.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.3 steals last season for the Panthers.

The veteran guard from 1A North departed from Run 4 Roses having turned in an impressive showing – and departed with an offer. Parkland College in downstate Illinois is hoping to bring Parks to the Prairie State once she graduates from North. Parks' recruiting has picked up over the last several months as she has added offers from Chaminade, Talladega College, Erskine and Toccoa Falls College since the season concluded. She already held offers from Mississippi Valley State and Stephens College as well. Parks was a team captain on last year's Eagles team and put up team captain-esque numbers – 22.5 points, 6.3 steals and 5.7 rebounds per contest.

It has been a while since we have had an update on one of the Palmetto State's highest profile prospects, but Hartwell provided us with one when she announced she received an offer from Notre Dame. Getting recruited by coach Nielle Ivey of the Fighting Irish means Hartwell is doing something right on that 94 by 50 feet of hardwood. At 6-foot-5, she can fill the need of any team looking to bolster its paint presence on both offense and defense. Hartwell averaged a double-double as a sophomore with 15.2 points and 10.5 rebounds a game plus 2.5 blocks a contest for a Westside team that qualified for last year's 4A state championship game.

Hartwell is not the only standout from 4A Westside drawing collegiate interest. Marshall will soon enter her freshman campaign sporting the Rams colors and landed an offer from in-state school Furman last month. Marshall already had offers from George Mason, UNC-Wilmington and Coastal Carolina – who has a coach in Kevin Pederson who knows how to recruit in-state talent. She runs with AEBL Girlz on the grassroots circuit where she plays up in class on its 16U team. Marshall turned in a great performance at Run 4 Roses. Her freshman season will be her third at the varsity level and she averaged 10.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.5 steals last season for Westside. The Rams will once again be part of the 4A state conversation in 2025-26.

Moving from the team that was last season's 4A runners-up to the team that was 2024-25 4A state champions in North Augusta. Walker, who already had offers from UNC-Wilmington, North Carolina A&T, Georgia Southern and Furman landed another Division I collegiate get from South Carolina State. As a 2027 with a pair of state championships as part of her high school resume, one will expect more offers to come down the pike. Walker averaged 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.7 steals en route to another ring season for the Yellow Jackets – one where coach Al Young's squad ran the table against in-state comers.

Many names who rise through the high school ranks and excel in a variety of sports not only mull over collegiate offers – but which sport will they emphasize in college. McLean already held a pair of basketball offers – from Denmark Tech and USC-Salkehatchie. Last month, McLean added a track and field offer from UMass-Lowell to her resume. In fact, she qualified for the USATF Nationals in the triple jump and long jump. McLean's athletic resume has also included volleyball. She was a major reason why last season's Carolina Forest team went 25-4 and won its region. McLean played in 28 games last season with the Panthers and averaged 14.8 points, nine rebounds, 4.1 blocks and 1.9 steals a game.

Lee-Sutton was another who landed an offer back during June's camp month. The rising star sophomore of 3A Keenan picked up an in-state offer from Newberry. Lee-Sutton's Raiders returned to the 3A ranks last season following a couple of 2A campaigns and compiled a 19-7 record along with going undefeated in region play. She posted career highs in both points and steals last season, averaging 19 points and 4.5 steals per contest. Lee-Sutton has ran with FBC United The Family GUAA throughout the spring and summer months of grassroots ball. One can expect The Cove to be the site of many more victories as long as Lee-Sutton sports blue and gold.

Last month, Sumter landed offers from a pair of in-state schools. One was from Claflin and the other was from Allen. Sumter already had an offer from Coker she picked up back in April. Lower Richland moved up from 3A to 4A starting this past season and the Diamond Hornets compiled a robust 25-2 record. Sumter was a key reason why Lower Richland qualified for last year's 4A Lower State championship game. She was second in scoring on last season's team with 13.2 points per game. She also averaged 8.5 rebounds and 2.9 steals per contest in 2024-25. The 2025-26 season will be an interesting one at The Creek as Morgan Stroman assumes the reins at the Diamond Mine with Aaron Lucas taking the job at 5A Division 1 Ridge View.

One would be hard-pressed to find any prospect around the Palmetto State whose recruitment has picked up more than the veteran big who recently transferred to 5A Division 1 Wando. Her most recent offer have all been of the Division I variety. One was courtesy of the Seawolves of SUNY Stony Brook on Long Island. SUNY Stony Brook plays in the Colonial Athletic Association. Prior to that offer, she announced that the Spartans of USC-Upstate and the Panthers of High Point (both Big South schools) had her on their radar. In addition, Rush also landed an offer from North Florida of the Atlantic Sun.

She recently landed an offer from a school with similar colors as those of her club team. Middle Georgia State University extended an offer in Haroski's direction. One can see why coach Steven Rhodes wants Haroski as a Knight following her final season at 5A Division 2 Riverside. Haroski was injured during a portion of last season but still averaged 12.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.5 steals in the 12 games she played last season for the Warriors.
