The top prospect in the state and one of the few ND girls in state history to be nationally ranked will be making her college commitment in the coming months. She has been offered by national powerhouses USC, Tennessee, NC State, Notre Dame, Indiana, LSU, and North Carolina. Everyone in the country has basically offered Leelee other than UCONN and South Carolina. Leelee is a multiple Gatorade Player of the Year and one of the best to every do it in North Dakota. It will be fun to see who gets this talented player.

The long-limbed off-guard has had a terrific summer season and has gotten regional colleges excited about her potential. Many NSIC schools have tremendous interest in Mataya and for good reason. Mataya probably has Division 1 length and athleticism, but will need to improve her shooting in order to get to that level. She would fit in great in the Northern Sun or have a chance to player higher after a year or two at the junior college level. Mataya is lined up for an excellent senior season.

The sharp-shooting Thompson guard is going to be an excellent addition to any college recruiting class. Addison played on Sioux Falls [program_tooltip program_id='1246823' first='Sanford' last='Sports Academy']'s top 17U team and was able to play against top competition all summer in front of college coaches. She is one of the best shooters in the state and is lethal as soon as she crosses the half-court line. Minot State is a notable offer from the Northern Sun.

Coaches love players that are 6'2 and can play inside or out. Megan played alongside [player_tooltip player_id='342171' first='Addison' last='Sage'] on SD Sanford's top team and made a lot of heads turn this summer. Megan has the perfect college basketball frame and racked up a ton of NSIC offers from her terrific play. Megan is strong enough to play down low but athletic enough to play outside. In addition to her defensive potential, she can also stretch the floor with her three-point shooting ability.

Benson County is my favorite to repeat as Class B State Champions and Aubrey is a big reason why. She is a super talented guard who plays with a great competitive toughness. She is a prolific scorer and appears to be a top-notch teammate and leader. She is athletic and can handle the rock, allowing her to play on the ball or off of it. Aubrey is an awesome player with a ton of potential at the next level.

Sometimes girls from smaller schools have a harder time getting recruited to how much attention is given to the bigger schools. Karleigh is a hidden gem and someone who can definitely play in college. She played her first season of AAU this summer and had a really nice year. She has a great frame to be a mismatch nightmare at the next level. I know of a handful of regional coaches that have been impressed with Karleigh's play.

Tioga is another school that should get more attention than it receives. It has a really good girls' basketball program with a lot of talented players. Cheryl is an absolute stud and an under-recruited athlete. She would fit in at all of North Dakota's JUCO and NAIA schools. She would also be a great fit in the D3 MIAC conference.

I know of many schools that are interested in Liza due to her point guard play along with her size and athletic ability. She looks like a Division 2 guard when she walks onto the floor. She can defend guards at that level and would have a chance to excel on both sides of the ball. She is looking to lead an eager Kindred team back to the state tournament in 2026. Liza can continue to turn heads this coming season in her recruiting journey.

Annabel just received an offer to play college basketball at Bottineau. The question I have is what has taken schools so long to notice the talented guard out of Dickinson Trinity? She is another great player who would thrive at North Dakota junior colleges and NAIA schools. She has a sweet shooting stroke and is an excellent ball-handler. She has the work ethic to earn a big-time role at the next level.
