During the three-month timespan between the conclusion of the travel schedule and the tip-off of the regular high school season, many a talent will take part in showcase events that provide even more opportunities to keep one's skills sharp with November lurking.

One of those showcase events is a new one to the Palmetto State. This past weekend saw the inaugural Passion Driven Showcase at the Pearl Moore Center in Florence. Around a dozen collegiate coaches were on hand players were grouped into four teams coached by Shaquetta Cooper (Lake City), Bree Goodson (Trinity Collegiate), Jordan Leath (River Bluff) and Justin Johnson (Manning).

We at Prep Girls Hoops also made the trek to the Pee Dee for the occasion. Following a look at 2026 guards, we now turn our attention to forwards and centers from this season's graduating class.

Earlier during the offseason, House landed her first offer – one from Voorhees. House is a multi-sport athlete as she also plays volleyball alongside her basketball achievements. She participated this past weekend with Team Cooper. House displays an ability to play as either a traditional five or at the four. Fresh off a 2025 AAU campaign where she ran with SC Future, one can see that she is a double-double possibility on a game-by-game basis. House averaged 19.9 points, 14.9 rebounds, five blocks and 4.2 steals per contest last season with the Panthers and her closing her high school career with an exclamation point can mean a big season for 1A McBee.

A strong case can be made that 5A Division 1 River Bluff had the most successful offseason of any team in the state with the additions the Gators made. Tifre will be sporting River Bluff's colors for the second time in her career as she embarks on her senior campaign. This past weekend, she was under the tutelage of coach Justin Johnson. While conventionally a frontcourt force, Tifre displays that she can be offensively versatile with her ability to convert from deep. Rebounding and defense are also strong points of her complete game. Tifre is a superb blend of talent and veteran instincts. She averaged 12 points, 10.9 rebounds and 3.6 steals last season at SCISA 4A Northside Christian.

With the number of players the 2024-25 version of 5A Division 1 Ashley Ridge graduated, returning Kelly for her senior campaign is crucial in re-establishing the Swamp Foxes as state contenders. Kelly primarily is listed as a small forward, but can establish herself in an offensive set from the corner or the wing ala a shooting guard. If Kelly is playing in close proximity to the paint, she is likely doing so with her back to the basket. Kelly sported the Ashley Ridge uniform on 26 occasions last season and her scoring and rebounding where integral in the solid season the Swamp Foxes put together. Team Leath's impressive roster from the weekend included Kelly.

Nelson, part of Team Goodson, keeps a full athletic plate. Throughout her career, not only has she played basketball but also volleyball and softball. Nelson stands at 5-foot-11 and was one of the taller names on hand in the Pee Dee. That height combined with a well-developed skillset particularly shows up on defense with her ability to block shots. The ability to handle the ball is another attribute she possesses along with having an imposing build of a four or a five. Nelson is one of three seniors returning for 4A Wilson and those upperclassmen will be important pieces to another winning season for coach Ki'Ari Cain's Tigers.

Regardless of what happens this season, Williams will be entering the collegiate ranks having compiled plenty of state hardware during her time at 1A Military Magnet under coach Nathaniel Taylor. Standing at 5-foot-9, Williams is a consistent point-getter while also displaying plenty of versatility. That production can occur via her making plays in the interior or by attacking the rim from the open floor. Much of that offensive production is predicated on what she gets accomplished on defense. Williams averaged 14.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 4.7 steals per game last season. She was part of Team Johnson which won the 5-on-5 championship.
