All in the family. That's how it is for many of the most talented prospects in Minnesota girls basketball. We shouldn't be surprised. It's only natural for parents to pass along the activities they love. Musicians teach their kids to play an instrument. Former hockey players provide their kids with opportunities to skate. Hoopers almost always want their kids to hoop. What feels unusual now is just how many uber-talented sister acts are dominating youth basketball across the state.

This past spring we watched the Hanna triplets of Maple Grove go off to college – Bella Hanna to Michigan Tech, Lexi Hanna to Missouri-St. Louis and Addie Hanna to Augustana. The older siblings in some strong duos also moved on: Haven Fisher of Prior Lake to Division I Tulsa while 2027 standout [player_tooltip player_id='764229' first='Toni' last='Fisher'] stayed behind; Annika Southworth of St. Peter went to Trine University while younger sister [player_tooltip player_id='764209' first='Kylie' last='Southworth'] continues on; and Kendyl Lodermeier of Goodhue advanced to Upper Iowa, leaving junior [player_tooltip player_id='665717' first='Mackenzie' last='Lodermeier'] to carry the family name.

Those departures have done little to thin a sibling talent pool that features a slew of D1-bound stars. We thought it would be fun to figure out the top sister acts in Minnesota – an exercise that made our brains hurt. It seems like we may have missed a few, but here's what we came up with.

Beckett was a 7th grader when she played varsity with Maddyn for the first time.

THE BEST OF THE BEST

[player_tooltip player_id='252381' first='Maddyn' last='Greenway'] and [player_tooltip player_id='872714' first='Beckett' last='Greenway'] (Providence Academy)

Maddyn is the highest-rated prospect in the Class of 2026. Don't be surprised if Beckett holds the same spot in the Class of 2029 when we release the Freshmen 50 later this month. While their games differ, each impacts the court in ways few others can. Maddyn represented Team USA this summer and has committed to Kentucky. Beckett, just entering 9th grade, is already earning Division I opportunities at the high-major level.

[player_tooltip player_id='377583' first='Mya' last='Wilson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='923286' first='Ashlee' last='Wilson'] (Hill-Murray)

Amazingly, the Greenways aren't the only duo that could claim the top prospect in two different classes. Mya is already the #1 prospect in the Class of 2027, with a backpack full of Power 4 opportunities. With offers from the likes of Iowa State, Marquette, Arizona State and more, 8th grade sister Ashlee has to be the favorite for the top spot in 2030. Her ceiling is as high as anyone in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='578467' first='Amisha' last='Ramlall'], [player_tooltip player_id='716527' first='Ashna' last='Ramlall'] and [player_tooltip player_id='630243' first='Arshia' last='Ramlall'] (Rosemount)

The Greenways and Wilsons may headline, but the Ramlall trio is just as impressive in and of themselves. Amisha, ranked #3 in the Class of 2027, has committed to Minnesota. Ashna, #7 in the Class of 2028, already holds numerous Division I offers. Arshia, Amisha's twin, is a top-40 prospect in 2027. In a three-point contest, it's hard to bet against this family.

BOUND FOR DIVISION I

[player_tooltip player_id='471360' first='Mya' last='Moore'] and [player_tooltip player_id='644898' first='Ally' last='Moore'] (Orono)

If you're looking for elite floor generals, the Moores deliver. Mya, cool and composed, is a top-5 prospect in the Class of 2026 and committed to Creighton. Ally, ranked #13 in 2028, had an excellent summer with [program_tooltip program_id='712722' first='North' last='Tartan'] and keeps on climbing.

[player_tooltip player_id='502602' first='Morgan' last='Staloch'] and [player_tooltip player_id='925046' first='Jordan' last='Staloch'] (Jordan)

Morgan is already a top-10 prospect in 2026 and signed with the University of St. Thomas. The versatile forward impacts both ends of the floor and has grown her game every year. Younger sister Jordan, a 2029, might be ahead of Morgan's development pace and is pushing for a Freshmen 50 top-10 spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='252383' first='Lanelle' last='Wright'], [player_tooltip player_id='1090087' first='Lariah' last='Wright'] and Lamairah Wright (Minnetonka)

Lanelle's game has carried her all the way to Division 1. The top-6 senior is headed to Grand Canyon University one year from now. Her 2030 sister [player_tooltip player_id='1090087' first='Lariah' last='Wright'] is already an established varsity performer at Minnetonka. This summer we watched 2031 Lamairah Wright have substantial success playing two years up.

[player_tooltip player_id='630285' first='Adele' last='Changamire'] and [player_tooltip player_id='884449' first='Andie' last='Changamire'] (Becker)

Among Minnesota's most athletic duos, Adele (Class of 2028, top 10) and Andie (A likely top 10 in the Class of 2029) bring speed, bounce, and smarts. Few varsity performers in Minnesota can match their sheer athleticism. Together they are deadly.

[player_tooltip player_id='458305' first='Audrey' last='Shindelar'] and [player_tooltip player_id='991231' first='Danika' last='Shindelar'] (Stewartville)

Audrey, ranked #7 in 2026, has signed with South Dakota State, the region's premier mid-major. Danika, longer and leaner after a strong summer, is pushing her way into the 2028 top 40. There's no telling how good she might end up being.

STARS IN THE MAKING

[player_tooltip player_id='565313' first='Elsa' last='Retzlaff'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1110548' first='Elin' last='Retzlaff'] (Hillcrest Lutheran)

Elsa, a gritty guard top-20 prospect in 2028, earned at least one Division I offer after a standout summer with [program_tooltip program_id='713021' first='West' last='Central United']. Younger sister Elin was equally dominant with WCU's 2030 team, carrying the load for her team week after week.

[player_tooltip player_id='904190' first='Malin' last='Youngberg'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1239229' first='Ehlin' last='Youngberg'] (Little Falls)

Malin exploded this summer, earning a dozen D1 offers and being named our Prep Girls Hoops top prospect in Minnesota's West Central region. She's now ranked #6 in the Class of 2028. Sister Ehlin, only an 8th grader, showed enough this summer to suggest she could be a scholarship-level prospect in 2030.

If you're keeping score, that's more than a dozen top-10 prospects across nine sister acts. Remarkable. As they say in the late-night TV infomercials... "But wait! There's more!"

MORE TALENTED DUOS
