Freshman Showcase: Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Girls Hoops hosted their Freshman Showcase last weekend in Rock Hill, SC.  We were able to catch class of 2029 athletes from all over the Carolinas coming to show off their skills and compete against one another.  Let's take a look at some of the team 4 and 5 standouts from the event.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block off her shot fakes to get to the basket.  She made some nice passes to her teammates as she drew defenders towards her.  Her height is already an asset on the court being able to compete with anyone the ball from all over the court hustling after loose possessions.  She did well using her feet to get into position and her strength to bully her defenders where she wants them to go.  She didn't back down from anyone trying to guard her.  She ran the floor well being ready for the pass on a fast break.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block the ball well getting to the opening and scoring from the free throw line when needed.  She had a nice pass making the adjustment to get around her opponent and hitting her teammate in stride on her way to some points.  She knew how to create some space for her shot or the pass making sure her team had a chance for points each time down the court.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- tough take to the basket battling contact and making her points count from the free throw line.  She didn't back down from anyone on her way to points using her strength to make it count.  She used that aggressiveness on defense, too, keeping her opponent in front blocking their path to the basket.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block move in the paint dribbling and creating some space to score her points.  She already has some great height to battle against anyone on the court elevating up and over her opponents to score.  She was
