I'm closing out the coverage for the event, @Playerrinidies and I split things up as far as teams to maximize the coverage so my advice to all is to play hard and play smart, know what your weaknesses are and WORK ON THEM, and lastly, don't believe every IDIOT who runs up to you with advice is actually giving you good advice so good luck and enjoy your school season

Onuegbu gave me a powerful first look, and seeing her understanding how to utilize her strength on both ends grabbed me immediately. She attacked the basket strongly and finished after contact with ease, nice body control played a part in that, but she also gave me the spin in traffic to score around the basket. She used her UPS to not only rebound on both ends but also block shots. Her timing was also good at reading the floor as she played the passing lane well

Seifert is not only an athletic guard who uses her athleticism on both ends of the court, but she's also heady and makes good decisions, handling the ball and seeing the floor, both while being pressured. She created her shot as well as spacing to get it off. She used a deceptive first step to get the defender off balance so she could attack and score off the dribble, and she applied heat on defense in the half and full court

Thomas is a "long and athletic" guard, which also falls into something I call "THE BASE" and I'm repetitive with that because many don't and never will get it but not only does she GET IT, she GIVES IT as in "never takes a play off" Her "on the ball" defense was smothering and helped to create turnovers, she dove on the floor for loose balls, #THROWBACK ad her court visio was also a plus, like throwing a bouce pass in traffic from halfcourt "on the money" for an assist. She also attacked and scored strongly off the dribble

Taylor showed me several pluses, and her versatility on both ends definitely got me going. She understands positioning, and that helped her outrebound taller players. She also went coast to coast a few times to score or drop off passes in transition, as well as off the dribble, court vision across the board looked good. Her first step was also nice as she left the defender standing, body control on her finishes made contact irrelevant. She gave me the catch and shoot from outside, applied "on the ball" pressure, and played the passing lane

Okorocha gave me a lot to open up the event, as she was one of my Top 5 performers in the 3 on 3 see evaluation here and I talked about how she plays as if she's plays as if she's 6'0 or above and how relentless was she was getting rebounds, well she also showed she could handle the ball after rebounding and go coast to coast to score or hit teamates. Her interior defense was solid; she even stepped outside the paint to guard her man, but her scoring around the basket, putbacks included, was a problem for defenders

Rettig was one of @playerrimidies standouts in the 3 on 3, see evaluation here, and this was my first look since almost a year ago, after catching her at the Texas Invitational, see evaluation here. She stands above "the magic number" yet the magic starts inside the paint as she BATTLES for everything off the rim, on both ends. She's constantly moving; her defense was solid inside and outside the paint, plus she also scored off the dribble from multiple spots

Pugh rhymes with whew, and her being a "long and athletic" guard, which is and always will fall into THE BASE, she showed me she could not only play either the 1 or 2, she did both efficiently and effectively. Her court vision, decision making, and ball handling all looked good, and why wouldn't they, she's heady. Making the right pass in transition was really nice, but she also scored or dished off the dribble. She dropped the short jumper and played solid defense
