Bayleigh has been consistently proving her determination to make herself stand out amongst other players, which she has been successful at as of late. Her performance on Team 1 during the Indiana Freshman Showcase included improved defense and calculated passes. Her defensive abilities were the most notable feature that Bayleigh has corrected, as she put pressure on the opposing team and often caused turnovers. Additionally, Bayleigh's performance on a showcase team as such proves that she is ready to adapt to the game at any given moment and execute it well. Bayleigh ended the Freshman Showcase as a Top Performer.

As a point guard on Team 5, Kleyah made many quick passes that aided her team during strategic plays. However, her shooting accuracy, especially 3-pointers, appeared to be the most improved for Kleyah. She had no issue with knocking back several 3's over the heads of significantly taller opponents. Additionally, one of Kleyah's go-to plays was to make herself open within the 3-point range, and go for an easy lay-up. This is a skill that scouts are looking for within players, as it makes for consistent players and points.

Addison excelled the most during the 3 v. 3 drills, putting up numbers with left-handed lay-ups. However, Addison's most notable contribution to the three-man team was her ability to set the other two girls up for scoring more as she handled more of the defensive work. Addison successfully swatted a shot that was taken in the paint, a feat that you don't see very often. Additionally, Addison grabbed multiple rebounds, which she then put back into formation with the help of her teammates. Addison proved to be a great behind-the-scenes player by handling crucial components of the game that aren't just scoring.

During her time at the Freshman Showcase, Elizabeth (Libby) served as a crucial center on Team 6. On defense, Libby managed to provide aggressive defense on her opponents, forcing them to pass in difficult situations. Several times, her tenacious defense allowed for her teammates to gain advantage of turnovers. Libby also provided adversity for any opponent looking to make a lay-up, as she was often able to guard their line of drive. Libby is showing that she can make a promising future for herself as she continues her basketball career.

Riley is another player on Team 1 that made a stand-out appearance at the Freshman Showcase, which can be attributed to her dedicated hustle and willingness to take shots. When constantly moving back-and-forth down the court, players often get easily tired, allowing for more mistakes to be made. However, Riley kept up the hustle with each play, allowing for her to be open for a quick pass from her teammates. Riley showed no issue with taking shots from the field, regardless of where she was. Her indifference to taking difficult shots is a dependable trait, which she will continue to improve upon during her career.

At the Freshman Showcase, Angel proved to be a huge benefit to Team 4 as she dominated the paint. In fact, Angel was recognized as a Top Performer during the showcase, as well. This is a major feat, which can be credited towards her defensive abilities as a center. Angel played a crucial part in many plays as she was able to defend the rim by blocking several lay-ups and creating turn-overs for her team. She also provided her team with several of her own shots, due to the fact that Angel was able to find tough passes over the heads of her defenders. Angel is a valuable center that scouts should watch, because she continues to prove her worth on the court.

Avery displayed a variety of skills on Team 4 at the Freshman Showcase that shows her improved playing style. Her most notable feature was her ball-handling skills. Avery used different techniques, ranging from cross-over dribbles to between her legs, in order to get around aggressive defenders. Additionally, Avery showed to have improved her shooting accuracy by burying several distinct shots, which included 3-pointers, a floating field goal, and several lay-ups. All around, Avery proved to be an important offensive player, and a key aspect to Team 4's success at the Freshman Showcase.
