September means a number of things across the Palmetto State. It means summer transitioning to autumn. It means temperatures are beginning to drop.

And it also means we are that closer to the start of the 2025-26 basketball season across South Carolina and beyond.

Unlike the basketball season, the recruiting carousel knows no offseason. Some occasions can be busy on the recruiting front and others less so. Since our last recruiting update at the conclusion of August, things have been more on the busier end.

Without further ado, here is the latest on who is offering who as Prep Girls Hoops remains hot on the Palmetto State's recruitment trail.

After narrowing down her collegiate decision to four schools, one of the state's signature senior talents announced on social media she will sport the purple and gold of East Carolina when her high school career concludes after this season. Appalachian State, Marshall and Elon rounded out Rush's quintet. Between this and transferring SCISA 4A championship game participant First Baptist back to the SCHSL realm with 5A Division 1 Wando, Rush has had a busy offseason. After averaging 12.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 1.2 blocks per game for the Hurricanes, she hopes to bring even more success to the Warriors in her final season through the high school ranks.

Parks is closing in on a collegiate decision as evidenced by her narrowing her collegiate possibilities to a final three. She will visit Parkland College, Chaminade and Mississippi Valley State before announcing her collegiate commitment. Whichever school lands Parks will be landing one of the Palmetto State's premier guards. Parks wore North's signature blue hues on 26 occasions last season and averaged 22.5 points, 6.3 steals and 5.7 rebounds in 2024-25. She played her final AAU season with FBC Next Up SC Lady Wolves. The Eagles advanced to the 1A Upper State championship game last season and North should be an even tougher out in 2025-26.

During camp month of June, Johnson landed an offer from Claflin. The latest school to offer Johnson was Bluefield State – an HBCU in West Virginia. These offers are in addition to previous offers she landed from Newberry College, Columbia College and Allen University last calendar year. Johnson contributed majorly to a 20-9 season for Ridge View as the Blazers moved back up from 4A to 5A – Division 1 to be exact. She played in 24 games last season and averaged 6.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.3 steals last season then played her final grassroots season with [program_tooltip program_id='783909' first='Palmetto' last='76ers/A'ja Wilson Elite'].

Haroski's commitment decision is one of the most anticipated across the state given she is one of the state's signature veteran sharpshooters. A week ago, the latest offer to find its way to the 2026 star from 5A Division 2 Riverside was courtesy of Mars Hill. For her final grassroots number, Haroski wore the purple and black hues of Under Armour team [program_tooltip program_id='715412' first='SC' last='Eagles'] which also made its presence known on the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit. She is more than poised to finish her high school career with an exclamation point – one that will once again place her Warriors into the state championship conversation.

One of the latest offers to find its way to a high-level Palmetto State prospect found its way to this Griffin-turned-Skyhawk. McMillan secured an in-state offer courtesy of Converse University in the Upstate. After a dismal season last season, McMillan looks to give a second wind to SCISA 4A Hammond. She played in 20 games in her final season at 2A Fairfield Central and averaged 17.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.4 steals per contest. McMillan will likely put up similar numbers sporting the red, white and blue hues of the Skyhawks and it ought to vault Hammond back in the SCISA 4A conversation.

Ligon was one of many marquee names from the Palmetto State that made her presence known recently at the Prep Girls Hoops Carolinas Freshman Showcase in Rock Hill. Back in mid-August, Ligon secured an offer from Augusta University. She has more experience than one's typical freshman given she has played at the varsity level at 5A Division 1 Mauldin since she was a seventh grader. She ran with Adidas team [program_tooltip program_id='713005' first='Upward' last='Stars'] on the grassroots circuit and is looking ahead to a 2025-26 season where the Mavericks will once again be a tough out in the 5A Division 1 realm.

We conclude this latest update with a pair of non-basketball offers secured by standouts at 4A Wilson. Miller, sporting Tigers purple and gold, fittingly landed a softball offer to play at another school with Tigers purple and gold – Benedict College. Basketball-wise, Miller was a key contributor to why the Tigers – 19-9 last season – were one of the teams to beat among 4A squads. Miller played in 28 games in 2024-25 for the Tigers and she averaged 13.3 points and 2.9 steals a season ago. She is another of the premier sharpshooters across the state and coach Ki'Ari Cain's Tigers will need that 3-point accuracy to key another stellar season at Wilson.

It appears that Spears has track and field very dear to her heart. She recently secured an in-state offer to be part of the track and field team at Coker and is taking a visit to the Hartsville-based home of the Division II Cobras. Spears is another of the three seniors that will comprise 4A Wilson's veteran core in 2025-26. The 5-foot-9 guard sported Wilson's purple and gold uniform on 28 occasions last season. She averaged 6.8 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.9 steals last season. In 2024-25, Spears led the team in steals on average, was tied for the team lead in assists and was third among Wilson players in rebounds.
