Players Taking The Reins This Winter

Here we have five prospects that should take the reins in their high school Varsity program this Winter. If they can do that early on, they will be set up for success throughout the rest of the year.   Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!    We are looking for a big season ahead from [player_tooltip player_id='758274' first='Jada' last='James'] of Duchesne Academy High School. James is a thorough scoring threat and the main overall producer for her high school program at this point in her career. All of their action run's through James in one way or another when you watch their play-style and I don't expect any thing to change in this regards for this upcoming season. This team will go as far as James takes them. If she plays her best ball yet, I'm sure this group will go places before you know it.     [player_tooltip player_id='1217284' first='Ray' last='Wegner'] needs to emerge as the force that she is in the middle for Norris this Winter. Wegner has size and discipline underneath. She understands that it's tough for opponents to score on her team when she is actively patrolling the middle of the lane. Norris should be a group that has a chance to make the State Tournament this season. If players like Wegner make a statement defensively, then they will win a lot of games. They just have to stay locked in mentally and keep the main thing, the main thing and they should have ample success.     I'm hoping that [player_tooltip player_id='895676' first='Amaya' last='Moore'] can make her presence known early on this season at Lincoln High. Moore is a 5'11 Center with touch, physicality, good footwork, and a willingness to play aggressively against some tough opponents. We just needs to continue to see the consistency on both ends by Moore. If see that this Winter, she should have some colleges interest moving into the 2026 calendar year. She should have her opportunities so it's all about capitalizing on those.     With all the pieces that Lincoln Christian is bringing back this Winter and who they bring in for their 2029 Class, it's not crazy to think that they put together another memorable season over the next few years. Someone that is coming back from years past is CG - [player_tooltip player_id='1237569' first='Samantha' last='Dearking']. Dearking is a Combo Guard at 5'9 with solid shooting form off the catch, with good muscle mass to pair with her height, an act for being in the right place at the right time, and a positive head on her shoulders. She is going to be a good source of light and production this Winter in certain aspects if they use her in the correct fashion.     [player_tooltip player_id='747245' first='Addison' last='Medeck'] is going to continue to roll with her current momentum into the high school season this Winter and that should pay off. Medeck was just invited out to Cali to compete in a National camp hosted by some big names. If she does well out there, it's only going to add to her resume at this point. The teams around the Midwest know what Medeck brings to the hardwood as a 6'2 PF. She is extremely productive now whenever she competes and that should stay consistent moving into the college ranks as well.
