Tomorrow, we will do our final rankings update, which will serve as the watch list for the incoming freshman class entering their first season of high school basketball. Today, we will finish up the rankings content for the rising sophomore class by highlighting some stock risers in the 2028 class, along with a handful of new additions in a class that went from 50 ranked players to 100.

The Mukwonago native had an excellent summer with 24:up and caught my attention anytime I watched her play. Cochenet has the length to be a problem for teams on the defensive end. She moves her feet well and can defend around the basket. The Mukwonago wing is also a versatile offensive wing who can play around the basket and score in the paint or space the floor and knock down shots from beyond the three-point line.

[player_tooltip player_id='992496' first='Jadyn' last='Mataczynski']

I was impressed when I saw Mataczynski at Hudson's open gym. She had a solid first season as a Raider and showed plenty of promise. However, she returned this season with more physicality and comfort attacking the basket and being aggressive on the offensive end. Her ability to handle the ball and be a secondary playmaking threat for Hudson could prove crucial in high-profile games for the Raiders this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='890152' first='Bella' last='Biese']

The Hortonville wing is a rangey player comfortable in the mid-range and putting the ball on the floor offensively. Biese is a player who can score from all three levels offensively and could be a mismatch problem for every team the Polar Bears line up against this coming season. There is a real chance that Biese could be the breakout player that catches people's attention in the Fox Valley Association this coming winter for Hortonville.

[player_tooltip player_id='932119' first='Mya' last='Mayer']

Kettle Moraine Lutheran has been a guard-oriented program since I started covering girls' basketball in the 2021-22 season. Mayer is a player who could give the Chargers an added look they haven't had in the last four years. She is a talented interior presence who can finish around the basket and be a physical player who can control the area around the basket on both ends of the floor. I'm eager to see how she gets integrated into what the Chargers do on both ends of the court. However, her ability to score around the basket will give her team the edge in scoring in the paint.
