Five Western Kansas Seniors To Watch

Lewis led the team in scoring, averaging 17.1 points per game. She almost averaged a double-double for the season, grabbing 9.7 rebounds per contest. She finished with a double-double in eight of the 22 games she played last season. Seventy-five of her 376 total points last season came from the charity stripe. Rhine scored 9.8 points per game in 22 games played last season. She values the importance of the ball and limits turnovers. She will work on improving her shot selection as a senior, after shooting 34 percent from the field last season. The Redskin guard also averaged 1.9 assists and two steals per game as a junior. Her senior volleyball season ended with an appearance in the Class 1A DI State Tournament. She will also be looking to guide Bucklin to the state basketball tournament. She scored 15.4 points per game last season. Her junior season stat line included averages of 6.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 2.7 steals per contest. She is a three-level scorer who can also beat teams in transition. She shot 48 percent from the field and 64 percent from the free-throw line. She also converted on 22-of-76 attempts from deep.
