[player_tooltip player_id='1060154' first='Kylie' last='Brichacek'] was a constant producer last season for Howells-Dodge High School last Winter and she is looking to build on that moving forward. Brichacek, a 5'9 CG, was not only the second best scoring option on her team, she was also the team's top rebounder and defender as a guard. This is a group that made the State Tournament for their Class going 17-10 overall. If they want to try to make it back, it's going to take more production out of players like Brichacek and company. They will return multiple starters from year's past so the foundation should be set in place, they just need to try to build off of that over the next six months.

In the past we have not spoken about [player_tooltip player_id='758857' first='Myla' last='Emery'] of Minden High School but that all changes this season. Emery is a 5'10 PG with better than average size and skill for her position. In most situations, Emery dominates because of her nature height and athletic ability. She can leave almost any defender in the dust off the bounce and that usually helps her set up her teammates for easy buckets offensively. Defensively with her reach, she can move and guard a few different positions with success. It really just comes down to what is being asked of her by her coaching staff. All in all, Emery has promise in this game. If she can put together another memorable year for her Senior campaign, the team results should follow accordingly.

[player_tooltip player_id='865335' first='Kamryn' last='Scott'] demonstrated last Winter that she can be PG #1 at the next level some day. Scott is a pass-first guard with an impressive creating and facilitating abilities. She has better than average vision mixed with a crispy handle and elite knowledge of the game. She knows how to get her players in the right space with her vocal leadership and she knows how to make create something out of thin air if need be. Alma should make the State Tournament once again this Winter. They return most and they add the best 2029 in the state in [player_tooltip player_id='1221233' first='Kinley' last='Ford'] so if these two can work off of each other, there shouldn't be many who can slow them down.

[player_tooltip player_id='1380662' first='Eden' last='Peterson'] has stepped up the past few years for Cross County High School in the production department. Peterson seemed to be scoring option #1 last season while the team put together an impressive season at 24-3. This is someone competing from the SG spot and from the looks of it, most of her opportunities comes off of the ball as a knock down shooter. She can also put it on the ground and finish through contact at the bucket but you can tell she prefers to shoot a jumper over everything else because of her natural shooting stroke and balanced coordination. If Cross County wants to make noise this Winter, Peterson will have be heavily involved yet again so make sure to keep an eye out for her and this group in general.
