Underrated Talents of Maryland High School Basketball

Here is my Sunday recap of some underrated and unranked talent of upperclassman.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Outside of Pallotti's system, Lynan doesn't always get the recognition she deserves, but her game speaks for itself. In 28 minutes, she posted 8 points and 2 blocks, pulled down 4 rebounds, generated 5 steals, and delivered 8 assists—all while committing just one turnover. This was my first time seeing either team play. She never stopped talking before tip off then throughout the game. The team's vocal leader is the Gophers pass first point guard. On one play, the ball swung her way and in one motion she crossed her defender who did stay with her but was quickly body checked on the baseline by Shamaree's counter who then scored. Offensively, she has a quick first step that will catch most defenders by surprise. There were a couple times Kaleah was fed the ball in the high post where she graciously spun and managed to get the rim with one dribble, leaving her defender frozen. During the 11/25/25 early morning scrimmage Stephanie created three consecutive turnovers that sparked a second quarter run by the Gophers. Stephanie is Glen Burnie's secondary point guard who can finish at the rim while being contested, who also has good transition vision to get the ball ahead on the break.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
