Nyair scored 12 points but more importantly she had incredible control of the game. She dictated what Seton was able to do with her defense and consistently found holes to make plays for her teammates. She was a terror in the back court harassing and stripping ballhandlers of their precious cargo. When you think you have her beat she is still a threat to pluck the ball from behind. There are several plays that probably decided the outcome, but one play in particular was a half court buzzer beater to end the third quarter that gave the Mustangs their biggest lead of the game at 43-36.
In a game where every play mattered Kasey played one of the most aggressive games that I have seen from her. She started off the scoring attacking of the dribble and getting to the basket for the finish. She had the speed advantage over her defender and you could sense that she knew it. Even as help began to come she was able to repeatedly make the right play and get the ball where it was supposed to go. McNamara doesn't win this game without her effort. (photo below)

Zoe was a beast once she got into the lane. She had a lot on her shoulders as she ran some point guard and some center. Fouls started to mount up early as she had three in the first half to include a technical foul for taunting after a go ahead basket. The ensuing free throws surrendered the lead and could have been the margin in a regulation victory. Although there were multiple plays you can go back and point a finger at, when a game is this tightly contested you don't want to give away any unforced points. Zoe finished with 18 points, scoring in each quarter and in overtime. There was a span where it appeared that no one on McNamara's team could stop her, however, fouling out in overtime may have sealed their fate. (photo below)

Jaila established herself as the most dominant post player on the floor. The Mustangs were able to throw several bodies at her, however, they had no answer for her turnaround jumper deep in the post. It was a "hope she miss" and get the rebound session. She scored 11 points and had some big rebounds. Her play made the game interesting as it seemed like she was always a good option.

Jaylah had a difficult time with the referees, it seemed like they had a target on her. She scored 15 points and was the difference maker in overtime but nothing came easy for her. It seemed like almost every time she touched the ball there was a head scratching whistle. Defensively she dipped into the passing lanes repeatedly to get some breakaway baskets. She was also able to capitalize from the line scoring half of her points from the stripe.

Qandace led the Mustangs with a quiet 16 points. She had 10 points from the free throw line and didn't make any three pointers. She had a midrange pull-up that had the defender doing a 360, it was like she created space in a phone booth and it was one of the most beautiful plays that I've seen in a long time. It would probably go unnoticed as it seemed so effortless to her.

Audriana scored 9 points and each score was a highlight reel. She started coming on strong late in the game and was a key player on both ends of the floor. Unfortunately she fouled out of the game with a little over two minutes left to play. Losing her was big as her playmaking was needed at least one more time. It's likely that these two teams will meet again and hopefully she can stay on the floor until the final whistle as she is needed. (photo below)

Tegan started the game off with a score and got wide open several times slipping in the back door. She was huge on the glass snagging every rebound in her area. She got a clean block shot and altered a couple of others. She is constantly growing into her potential game after game.
