The featured image is of [player_tooltip player_id='902152' first='Delaney' last='Noll'] (2028) from Homestead High School.

This weekend marked the start of the Prep Girls Hoops tournaments, including the PGH Great Lakes Kickoff in the Southwestern suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. This is the first of a few articles highlighting the Indiana teams who participated in the 17U, 16U, and 15U divisions at the event. For 17U, we will identify each program/team with its own article and mention a few players from that program/team. For 16U and 15U, we will highlight the division as a whole and highlight a handful of kids from each of those two divisions. This article focuses on the new [program_tooltip program_id='1307580' first='Indy' last='One'] program. At the 17U level, they have both an EYBL team and an EYCL team this season, and both were in action this past weekend.

.

Kenzie is always an entertaining watch. She is quick & shifty off the dribble, she does a nice job of getting defenders off-balance, and she can turn the corner or create space to get her shot away. She shoots it with range, but she is also a multilevel scorer who has a nice little pull-up plus the athleticism to finish inside. She looks like she's absorbing contact better, and that will be an area of concern heading toward college, however, she has good burst and creativity, so she can adapt and make plays regardless.

The "state" should see a lot more of KP this year, as she is playing grassroots ball out of Indianapolis now. She has been on big stages with her former Chicago group, and they are talented, without question. But I'm not sure she has played with this many skilled perimeter shooters who can open up space for her to operate. KP is a driver/creator, but she's also built powerfully and athletically. If she can get downhill at all, it's a bucket. She's also versatile, hard-working, and she has a great nose for the ball.

Quick on quick, Saniya is a talented scorer who can find offense in different ways. She has a good handle and creates space to shoot, but she can lull you to sleep and go by as well. She is a weapon looking to score it on every catch, but she also possesses good vision and can find open teammates, even through the smallest of windows. Like Patterson (above), she's another player who could benefit from her backcourt 'mates abilities to shoot the ball. She has also improved her urgency defensively and looks stronger.

Speaking of good shooters, Delaney is as pure as they come. And it's not just simply taking and making open step-in jumpers; she can pull up off the dribble to 3-point range, she can shoot off the cut, in addition to being a knockdown shooter when she is set and has any time & space. Additionally, she looks a little quicker laterally and more explosive overall, plus she is handling it much better against pressure. While she helped facilitate a strong 2026 class at Homestead this Winter, look for her to score a lot more moving forward.

This was my first time seeing Nyla in action in almost a year, and she has done a nice job of improving her overall game. She has always been an accurate shooter, and she definitely did that during the action I saw. Additionally, she is quick and athletic, she is handling the ball a lot more, acting as true point guard, and she is consistently getting her team into their offense. I really hope colleges don't get stuck on her height, because she definitely has something she can add to successful small college lineups.

If you enjoy watching power wings, Merritt is for you. She has a strong frame, power, and toughness. She likes to seek physicality, but she is also skilled around the perimeter. She plays hard, rebounds her position well, and when she gets inside, she has a post player's mentality and likes to create space with her body to finish at the rim. She is mostly a North/South driver, so I would still like to see her be a little more dynamic off the bounce, and I haven't seen her shoot it enough outside to offer a strong opinion.

In a game where neither team possessed a ton of size, it was the type of game Ellie was able to use her frame and height to get a lot of work done inside the arc. This was as active and physical as I remember seeing her play. I thought earlier in her career, she was trying to be a wing shooter that she went away from using what I thought could be strengths of hers. Now, she looks like she's doing some of both, with her inside game complementing her outside game very well. She has committed to Cedarville University (OH).

This was my first time seeing Kyah in action, and she is definitely intriguing for such a young prospect. First, she is extremely long & wiry, but she's fluidly athletic and somewhat bouncy. She runs the outer lanes in transition well, and on the catch she is looking to break down defenders almost immediately and get into the paint. As she continues to gain strength and improve her handle, she should become a much better attacker, but she definitely stood out as someone who could have a bright future.
