As we segue from the fourth month of the year to the fifth of 2026, it is only fitting that there were five Prep Girls Hoops Circuit events taking place in various states across the country.

Two of those five took place in Minnesota along with one each in Wisconsin, Texas and Georgia. The Georgia event, of course, was the annual Peach Games which featured a larger number of teams than previously plus more venues being utilized across Atlanta's northern and western suburbs.

There were plenty of teams and prospects that saved some of their best for last – a number of them being standout guards from the 15U field.

Polk put together a breakout campaign in her eighth-grade season with GAPPS 1A Division 2 Valor Christian. The Lions concluded with a 22-6 record and a state championship. Polk also earned All-State honors while averaging 10.5 points, 4.3 steals and 3.4 assists in the 27 games that she played. Polk stands at an even six feet and her skillset includes an accurate 3-point shot. Long-range accuracy may be her bread and butter but she has no problems dribbling the ball with her left hand, moving to her right and finishing strong at the cup with said left hand if necessary. Polk is also a heads-up player that can collect steals and turn defense into offense.

We at Prep Girls Hoops are familiar with Bradley considering she was one of our top performers from the Southeast Kickoff at the beginning of March. In Sunday morning's contest against Louisiana-based Power 5 15U, Bradley was a consistent playmaker that caused problems for her opposition. Considering that she is a multi-sport athlete who also has played tennis, one can expect Bradley to be the sort of prospect that is light on her feet and understands how to react quickly to various situations. This past season, she played in 28 games for 4A East Burke, averaging 14.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game.

Larry's nickname is “trouble” – and she is certainly that for opposing teams. There are guards that have superb ball handling skills and there are ones and twos that are able to fuse together those attributes with excellent speed. Toughness is another element to her game as she has no problems falling to the floor if it means she will complete a play. A 3-point shot is also part of her overall offensive repertoire. The multi-sport athlete that is Larry has also competed in running events throughout her career. Larry stands at 5-foot-6 and can be placed into a team's lineup at either of the guard spots.

Turner is another name on the rise in Louisiana basketball circles. For many seventh graders, the thought of playing up in class against more experienced competition can be intimidating. That is not the case for Turner as she can display consistent playmaking capabilities. Turner is another that can operate at either the point or as a two guard but she embraces the opportunity to make the toughest of plays against the toughest of defenses. Turner will also play solid defense on the perimeter. This past weekend at Peach Games displayed that Turner is just getting started and is nowhere near finished.

Allen is another of the noteworthy 2030s that played up in class this past weekend at Peach Games. She has played her middle school career at Fort and has displayed attributes of a prospect that is more than ready to take on the high school realm. As tough as she is and with the contact she draws, she will have plenty of opportunities at the free throw line and can drain her attempts from distance. Allen is a skilled distributor of the ball that wants to put her teammates in position to make plays and can get into the right spots to corral rebounds.

Representing 1A Division 1 Putnam County on this season's [program_tooltip program_id='1250230' first='Winners' last='United'] 15U EYCL team, Baker was part of a War Eagles team that concluded this past season with a robust 21-3 record. Baker was one of several team captains during the high school season, a sign of the trust and confidence she has earned from many a coach. Getting herself in close proximity to the basket is one element of her game and another is what she gets accomplished as a playmaker in transition. Another attribute of hers that has earned her high praise from coaches is her ability to accept tough defensive assignments.

The Comets of 6A South Gwinnett have plenty of representation on this year's [program_tooltip program_id='1250230' first='Winners' last='United'] 15U EYCL team. Jones was one of those hat experienced a 13-3 season in a South Gwinnett uniform. When Jones has the ball in her hands, she can go to either her left or her right with the rock. When she does, Jones will either attack the rim with ferocity or attempt a 3-point shot. Defensively, she plays with a lockdown mentality and does not leave much breathing space between her and whoever she is defending. She can also get creative with how she finishes at the cup from time to time.

As the lone freshman on this past season's 2A Morgan County team, she helped the Bulldogs to their second consecutive 20-win campaign. She has excelled in other sports throughout her career – including track and field. Freeman is a combo guard on the rise that can also be relied to play the three in the frontcourt if necessary. What helps her when she does shift from the backcourt to the frontcourt is her rebounding capabilities. The ability to handle the ball with her left hand is another element to her game. We at Prep Girls Hoops have become familiar with Freeman as she was a Top Performer at last year's Georgia Freshman Showcase.

The Wolves of 6A Buford may be known statewide for its softball and football juggernauts, but its women's basketball team is no slouch either. Weaver's play and the 27-2 record the Wolves compiled this past season are testaments to that reality. She brings plenty of toughness to the court and understands that one of the best ways to help her team is by getting opportunities at the free throw line. She previously ran with Team Legit on the grassroots circuit before wearing the uniform of the power that is [program_tooltip program_id='713173' first='Wood' last='Elite']. Active defensive hands, occasional crafty finishes at the rim and three-level scoring are other attributes that define Weaver's game.

Khodabaksh's freshman campaign with Creekview concluded with a trip to the Macon Coliseum – where her Grizzlies were successful in defeating Milton for the 5A state championship. Winning appears to follow Khodabaksh wherever she goes and not only because she makes a plethora of winning plays. Khodabaksh helped her [program_tooltip program_id='713173' first='Wood' last='Elite'] team to a 4-0 weekend at this year's Peach Games. At 5-foot-7, she can find plenty of time as either a two guard or as a forward which will give her plenty of time at the wing. Connecting on 3-pointers and collecting steals are two key strong points to Khodabakhsh's game.

As deep as the 15U field was at Peach Games, there were many notable standouts that were playing up in class. Richardson was one of those many names and she more than held her own against more experienced competition. She even has had an opportunity to play among 17Us. The ability to finish at the rim with either her right or her left hand, getting around defenders and all-around athleticism are only some of her many positive hoops attributes. Typically, this is a case of one who is just getting started, but it is evident she was doing so in the elementary school ranks – and Richardson is nowhere near finished.

The [program_tooltip program_id='713173' first='Wood' last='Elite'] program is known for bringing in top-tier names from across Georgia. Sams appears to be one of those names. Her team may have been on the wrong end of a 76-70 decision to [program_tooltip program_id='1250230' first='Winners' last='United'] 15U EYCL but her consistent playmaking kept her eighth-grade assembling in the contest. At 5-foot-9, she is taller than many of her peer point guards and she compliments that height with plenty of length. Handling the ball with either hand and finishing with either hand also add to what she can get accomplished. Sams is a multi-talented 2030 who is sure to be mentioned a lot in the coming seasons.

Junco was another from the eighth grade [program_tooltip program_id='713173' first='Wood' last='Elite'] team that managed to ensure her team matched its [program_tooltip program_id='1250230' first='Winners' last='United'] 15U EYCL adversaries nearly point for point on Sunday. The addition of Gilliam to the Bucks ought to continue the team's winning ways. Gilliam helped [program_tooltip program_id='1808859' first='Alabama' last='Dream'] 15U to a successful 3-1 Peach Games weekend. She places plenty of emphasis on defense that can clog up the passing lanes of an opposing team. Once Gilliam gets her hands on the ball, it is an additional offensive possession for her team – and possibly more points as well. Gilliam is listed at 5-foot-2 and is already full of talent – one that should become even more pronounced as she gains more experience competing against her high school peers.

Myers gives representation to Hazel Green on this year's [program_tooltip program_id='1808859' first='Alabama' last='Dream'] 15U team. This past season's Trojans completed a 31-2 season that culminated in the winning of a 6A championship. Myers has made her presence known throughout this year's Prep Girls Hoops Circuit which has included stops at the Southeast Kickoff in Hickory, The Shootout in Nashville and the Roll Tide Rumble in Alabama. Prior to wearing the [program_tooltip program_id='1808859' first='Alabama' last='Dream'] 15U uniform, she had a previous stint with Alabama Scorpions as well as one with Only Dreamers Sleep. A team can place Myers in its lineup playing either as a pure point guard or at the two.

As we segue from the fourth month of the year to the fifth of 2026, it is only fitting that there were five Prep Girls Hoops Circuit events taking place in various states across the country.
