Ask anyone who plays high school basketball, and they will mention that the ball rarely, if ever, ceases to bounce.

That will once again be the case this weekend as a number of the Palmetto State's premier prospects will be in North Charleston for this year's Elite Camp organized by the South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association.

Among those looking to raise their stock higher in the Lowcountry are a number of noteworthy names from the 2030 class.

Offseason developments solidified that Singletary will have the keys to the program at Irmo for the next four years. The [program_tooltip program_id='1238252' first='Twelve' last='Time'] product secured an offer back in June from Coastal Carolina. Singletary already has two seasons of varsity experience on her resumé and is now a freshman for a Yellow Jackets team that will return to the 4A ranks following a pair of seasons as a 5A Division 2 combatant. Singletary played in all 27 games last season and averaged 23.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 3.6 steals per matchup. She was one of two from the class of 2030 on last season's team. Singletary participated in this year's Prep Girls Hoops Carolinas Freshman Showcase.

Adams is another that has more experience than the average freshman considering she first played at the varsity level as a seventh grader. She is also a multi-sport athlete who also competes in volleyball alongside her basketball achievements. Charlotte Dream Elite is the uniform she wears during the spring and summer months of AAU but is more than ready for the 2026-27 season with 4A Lancaster. Adams averaged 12.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and two steals per game for the Bruins last season. She was one of two middle schoolers on last season's Bruins team and one of three Lancaster representatives for this weekend's Elite Camp.

From one Adams to another. Adams was one of the many 2030s that were at the Prep Girls Hoops Freshman Showcase in Rock Hill. Dutch Fork has consistently been one of the toughest teams in the Palmetto State and that was proven again as Adams helped the Silver Foxes to a record of 18-6 and a 5A Division 1 Upper State semifinals berth. She played in all 24 of the Silver Foxes' contests last season and averaged 11 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.7 steals per game. Adams was one of two from the class of 2030 on last season's Dutch Fork team.

Gibson was the other 2030 on that Dutch Fork team from last season. She ran with SC Wolfpack throughout the spring and summer of AAU and also competed in all 24 contests for the Silver Foxes in 2025-26. Dutch Fork will be well-represented this weekend in North Charleston – six of coach Candace Bush's Silver Foxes will make their presences known at this year's SCBCA Elite Camp. She was one of our top performers at the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit's Sparkle City Slam in Spartanburg back in late July. Gibson and her Silver Foxes are set to begin their 2026-27 season on Nov. 23 on the road at 4A Wilson.

We at Prep Girls Hoops got a recent glimpse of Small at the A1 Hoops Fall League camp at Brookland-Cayce this past weekend. The [program_tooltip program_id='713574' first='Confidence' last='Cougars'] product is another with two seasons of varsity experience already on her resumé. Last season, she played in all 24 games for coach Paul Hudacko's St. James team and averaged 11.1 points, 6.7 rebounds and two steals per contest. Small hopes to continue that success for a Sharks team that will play in the 4A ranks beginning this upcoming season. Small was the lone name from the class of 2030 on last season's St. James assembling.

Berry is very emphatically establishing herself as the immediate future for the 5A Fort Mill program. She competed in 28 contests last season for the Yellow Jackets. We at Prep Girls Hoops got a glimpse of Berry back in May at the CGHR Carolina Border Clash and spent her spring and summer running with Charlotte Monarchs. Berry can play the point but her versatility allows her to give a team productive minutes in the frontcourt as a small forward. She is a consistent threat to collect steals and create additional offensive possessions for her team and is also effective in the transition game.

Rowan is a name that has established a robust profile not only because of her play – but the team she plays for. South Pointe has been firmly in the 4A state contenders' chat the last several seasons and that is sure to be the case once again for the Stallions in 2026-27. A [program_tooltip program_id='713550' first='Palmetto' last='76ers'] product, Rowan competed in 28 contests last season for South Pointe and averaged nine points, 2.1 steals and 1.8 assists per game. She found solid footing as the only eighth grader on last season's South Pointe team. Rowan is one of several Stallions that earned invites to this year's SCBCA Elite Camp.

Maxfield will be one of two from 1A Division 2 Scott's Branch that will be on hand this weekend in North Charleston. She ran with [program_tooltip program_id='1238252' first='Twelve' last='Time'] this past spring and summer for AAU and has established a robust profile because of her playmaking capabilities on both ends of the floor. Maxfield may have been one of four from the class of 2030 on last season's team but stood out among that flock of young Eagles. She averaged 15.8 points, six rebounds and 1.5 steals per matchup last season. This is the third time Maxfield has received an Elite Camp invite.

Mitchell and her 4A Colleton County assembling raised plenty of eyebrows throughout 2025-26 as the Cougars put together a 13-win season and earned a berth to the 4A tournament. Mitchell competed in 25 contests last season in Colleton County navy blue. Mitchell's ball distribution has helped establish a solid profile as she was one of the Cougars' assist leaders last season. In addition to running with H2 Basketball during the spring and summer of grassroots ball, Mitchell is also a multi-sport athlete who also runs track in addition to her basketball achievements. She was one of two from Colleton County to earn an Elite Camp invite.

Harris helped the Thoroughbreds of 4A South Aiken to its first winning campaign since the 2018-19 season that saw the T-breds put together a 15-9 season. She was the only name from South Aiken to receive an invite to this year's SCBCA Elite Camp. Harris was one of two eighth graders on last season's Thoroughbreds team and competed in 19 of the team's 24 contests last season. She led the team in scoring and rebounding last season and nearly averaged a double-double. Harris scored 11.3 points, brought down 9.2 rebounds and collected 2.9 steals per contest throughout 2025-26. South Aiken is poised to continue its positive trajectory with Harris returning for her freshman season.
