One of the more difficult aspects of early rankings is balancing early production and the longterm potential. Because development is not linear and not ever situation is created the same. There's quality freshmen who entered high school with impressive resumes from high level grassroots ball. Due to being on deeper, high level teams they might not make the same initial splash but are still set up for future success. Especially as they often apart of a winning culture, and learn daily from competing in practice and watching the older players on the team.

Quick and tenacious point guard who is already fitting in and finding a role for one of the best teams in Oklahoma. Recorded five steals in Lincoln Christian's season opening win over traditionally strong 2A squad, Riverside. Her skillset is perfect as a change of pace of guard for her deep team, as she can easily make an impact without scoring. As Lincoln Christian goes gold ball chasing, look for Woodruff to star in her role by setting up teammates, causing havoc on defense and the occasional big score.

Good change of pace guard on a Piedmont team that has quality veterans leading the way. Brings an intensity and toughness with how she approaches defense and attacking the rim. Should see plenty of opportunities for her creation skills to grow, as the vets for the Lady Wildcats are all strong shooters. Expect Wilson to hand out dimes, thrive in transition now. Then mature into a complete floor general and scorer

Pruitt and her teammate [player_tooltip player_id='992446' first='Anna' last='Sudbeck'] are great examples of finding a role now, and starring down the road. Pruitt is the heady point guard, who will immediately help with her vision, handles and occasional scoring. While Sudbeck is a long armed, sharpshooting wing. There's room for their roles to grow as the season progresses, especially with Pruitt aiming to make up for lost time after a preseason injury. The Lady Rams duo are names to know on a Rams squad that is aiming for a second straight Class 6A State Tournament appearance.

Bixby has one of the best starting fives in the state, and Campbell is providing valuable depth for the Lady Spartans. Has impressed the PGH team in past viewings with a great all around game. In a recent rewatch of Bixby's epic double overtime battle with Booker T Washington, Campbell saw some time in third quarter. Where athletically, her quickness and defensive mentality fit into the fast paced game. When the calendar turns to February and the playoffs arrive, there will be moments for Campbell to step up and swing games. Early signs point that she'll be ready and should be the start of a strong high school career.

Sharpshooter who will be running next spring and summer at the 16U level with the Lady Jets on the Adidas circuit. For now, she'll be finding spots where her shooting can change games while teaming up with her older sister, Olivia. Not only is she accurate from deep, especially in the corners, she has a quick and compact release which will serve her well against the speed of Class 6A close outs. Shooting is a trait that is always valued at the next level, will be interesting to see how the rest of her game develops. Especially with an older sister who already is headed to the D1 level.

A recent social media post by Willoby likely indicated that a gut feeling of "she might be too low" would be correct. She may spend the year backing up a quality front court, but the athletic Willoby will make a big impact. In Lincoln Christian's first game, she poured in a quick 15 points. The highlights from Hudl that she posted to social media painted a picture of an impact post scorer, good footwork, soft touch and either hand scoring. Along with the athleticism to snatch rebounds. It's a luxury for the 4A contenders to bring in the already strong and athletic Willoby off the bench, especially if she's hitting from distance.
