PGH Maryland Freshman Showcase

She got to the basket play after play whenever she wanted. She used her body well when she got to the basket to draw contact and finish with a free throw. She has good hands and was effective in the pick and roll. She rebounded everything in her area and finished really well. She ran the floor on the break to get a basket or clean up a miss. There was no one in the gym that could match her size so it will be good to see how it all translates into the WCAC. She also showed good body control in the paint getting to the basket. She showed good concentration knocking down shots while being contested. She played really good on the ball defense which should get her on the court early as a freshman if she keeps that up. She was active on the defensive in getting her hands on the ball for deflections and tips. overall she had a solid showing.
