Top ‘Box Office’ Girls to Watch in State Basketball

Read all about it.” Have you all ever heard that saying before? I remember back in the day when I was little (no, I am not trying to date myself), but when I used to see those old black and white films my parents used to watch, if something was ever important or must-see, they always said that saying. I don't know what would be the correct saying to use in this day and age with how technology and social media are; however, there are some “Box Office” girls we have in the state, if you know what I mean.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Let me break it down like this. In my mind, “Box Office” girls are those must-see players. A girl who makes you want to watch their game. They bring a type of style or some substance to a ballgame; therefore, she becomes a must-watch player. A player who excites you. Makes you come back for more. Technically, we have a lot of them in our state. They may not be McDonald's All-Americans or Top 25 in the country. However, we have enough of you to be coming back multiple times to see their game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>My point is this, I and others appreciate the game we get to see. We have girls in our state who will go on and take their talents to the next level. From being a knockdown shooter to someone who can handle the rock and put it on the floor to get a bucket, she is going to give opponents fits anytime she steps onto the floor. A kid who is going to give you double-digit scoring outputs, but also contribute in other ways. She can score from the arc and can score around the blocks. What most underestimate is her ability to see the floor. She can push the tempo with pace, hit the open shooter, and of course, defend. She is going to get after it on both ends of the floor. She's a gym rat who always gets 1% better daily. A kid who can score multiple ways, she brings so much to the table on both ends of the floor. Look for her to have a sensational season where Blackman looks to get back to their postseason ways.
