Hayden Barrier Hayden Barrier 5'6" | SG Montgomery County | 2024 State KY , Montgomery County – One of the best scorers in the class, Barrier has already been asked to carry a heavy load for Montgomery early in her career. Averaging just under 16 points per game is impressive and she’s one of the best shooters in the class already at 38% from three in her 8th grade season.
Shaelyn Steele Shaelyn Steele 5'5" | PG Russell | 2024 State KY , Russell – Possibly the best player in the class at this point, Steele led her team to Rupp Arena but didn’t get a chance to play on the big floor. A capable three point shooter who is better at attacking the paint, her numbers will increase even more as she becomes a better free throw shooter.
Ashtyn Barrett Ashtyn Barrett 5'6" | SG Bath County | 2024 State KY , Bath County – Another big time bucket getter in this group, Barrett is the go-to scorer for the Lady Wildcats. After scoring 16 points per game as an 8th grader, her numbers should climb over 20 per game if she improves her shooting efficiency this offseason.
Nylaia Carter, Sacred Heart – More facilitator than scorer for Male this past season, Carter is taking her talents to Sacred Heart for her actual high school career. Her development will be interesting to watch as Sacred Heart has some talented young guards who can be dynamic if they play well together.
Logan Palmer Logan Palmer 5'7" | SG Cooper | 2024 State KY , Cooper – Logan missed a quarter of her season but was a starter for a very young Cooper team this year. Percentage wise, Palmer was the best shooter on the team this year and would benefit from more shots per game moving forward.
Kayla Unkraut Kayla Unkraut 5'9" | CG St Henry | 2024 State KY , Villa Madonna – Villa is a very small private school but their program is on the upswing thanks to Unkraut. In her 8th grade season, Kayla averaged 15 points and 5 rebounds per game and helped her school to a respectable 13-15 record. She would be interesting to see in AAU against better competition level.
Ramiya White Ramiya White 6'4" | C Butler | 2024 State KY , Male – If you’re looking for potential, White has to be at the top of the list right now. Why? Because she has that size you cannot teach. The biggest girl in the class at 6’3, she averaged a mere 4 points and 4 rebounds per game this past season but the potential is there for much more.
Leia Trinh Leia Trinh 5'6" | CG Greenwood | 2024 State KY , Greenwood – Trinh started every game for Greenwood this season and put up good numbers while doing so. The 14th district is LOADED with young talent and Leia could be the best of the bunch next season.
Carly Smith Carly Smith 5'6" | PG Owsley County | 2024 State KY , Owsley County – A coach’s daughter with a high basketball IQ, you can see that Carly has grown up around the game and has a great feel for making the right decision with the ball in her hands. Perhaps her best asset is her shooting. Smith was a 47% shooter from three this season and 82% at the free throw line.
Kyera Thornsbury Kyera Thornsbury 5'7" | SG Pikeville | 2024 State KY , Belfry – A good slasher who was a reliable third scorer for the Pirates this past season, Thornsbury has a bigger role coming in her future after graduating their leading scorer. Kyera has a chance to make some big strides in her game over the next few seasons.
