Over the past several weeks, we have written several articles recognizing many of the premier names throughout South Carolina high school girls basketball for reaching career milestones. Here is one more as the 2025-26 regular season comes to a close.

While it is important to look ahead to what should be an exciting set of state tournaments, it is equally as vital to look back at the season that was.

The last update we did on career milestones was approximately two weeks ago. Needless to say, many a marquee name throughout the Palmetto State has reached a lofty plateau for their careers. We recognize those names here.

Hudson's first year with Rock Hill was during her eighth-grade year in 2021-22 – when the Bearcats won its first-ever state championship. In what is Hudson's final season in a Rock Hill uniform, the Bearcats sharpshooter reached the 2,000-point plateau for her stellar career. Hudson reached the feat on Feb. 10 when the Bearcats scored a dominant region victory over Catawba Ridge. The final score was 68-31. Rock Hill finished the 2025-26 regular season with an 18-8 record along with a 9-3 mark against region foes. Hudson and the rest of coach Kenny Orr's Bearcats will commence the 5A Division 1 state tournament at home against Spartanburg.

Speaking of 2,000-point scorers, that distinction also applies to another Upstate veteran sharpshooter that already has amassed state championship hardware. Haroski has concluded a 2025-26 regular season with 5A Division 2 Riverside that saw her play in 19 games this season. She averaged 17.2 points throughout the campaign to lead what was a young Riverside assembling. With the regular season in the rear-view mirror, Haroski is looking ahead to the upcoming 5A Division 2 state tournament which will see the Warriors host Catawba Ridge in the first round. Following the tournament, Haroski will transition to her college career as she has committed to Middle Georgia State University.

What do Anderson, Olivia Thompson, Alexis Sexton and Lindsay Garner all have in common? All of them reached the 1,000-point plateau for their Lexington careers under the tutelage of coach Molly Goodrich. Anderson accomplished her feat on Jan. 30 when the Wildcats put together a dominant performance against 5A Division 2 Irmo. Anderson's play has helped Lexington earn a ranking of sixth in the most recent 5A Division 1 coaches' poll. She was one of four Wildcats who earned All-Region honors. Lexington earned a first-round bye and will face off against the winner of a first-round clash between Fort Dorchester and River Bluff in the second round. Once the season concludes, Anderson will take her talents to the Pee Dee – Francis Marion, to be exact. Lexington last won state in 1979 as a 4A team.

One would be hard-pressed to locate a team that is entering this year's respective state tournaments with more momentum than 2A Lake Marion. Moorer reached a career milestone this season when she reached 1,000 points. She was recognized for the achievement following her team's 57-47 victory over Hampton County late last month. The Gators concluded its 2025-26 regular season with an 18-8 record along with going undefeated to win Region 5-AA. In addition, Lake Marion is in the throes of a 12-game winning streak. Moorer played in all 26 contests this season for Lake Marion and she averaged 16.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.5 steals per game. Her play has also led coach Tequilla Allen's Gators to a ranking of ninth in the most recent 2A coaches' poll.

The day was Jan. 30 when Kingstree was on the road to take on East Clarendon. At that game, Shaw reached a career milestone as she hauled down her 1,000th rebound. The 2025-26 season has been one of milestones for Shaw. Earlier this season, she became the first player in the history of Kingstree's program to score 1,000 points. Shaw's play led to another stellar regular season for the Blazers. Kingstree finished said regular season with an overall mark of 18-4 plus a record of 10-2 against region foes. Shaw and her Blazers are slated to open this year's 2A state tournament at home against Woodland. Kingstree won state in 1977 as a 3A team.

Helmer's name is one that will be all over St. Joseph's Catholic's record books. The Knights are also entering this year's 3A state tournament with plenty of momentum as evidenced by their 10-game winning streak. One of those victories occurred on Jan. 16 when St. Joseph's Catholic hosted Carolina. The Knights scored a dominant 60-32 victory over the Trojans and it was when Helmer – already the all-time leading scorer in program history – reached the 1,500-point marker for her career. A banner was also raised at St. Joseph's Catholic to commemorate her achievement. Following the tournament, Helmer will put all of her attention on her transition to Division I Furman as she is a Paladins volleyball commit.

The way those record books at St. Joseph's Catholic are already featuring Helmer's name; Adams is setting herself to be all over those same books. She is finishing her fourth season playing at the varsity level sporting Knights blue and recently approached the 1,000-point plateau for her career. One of the premier sharpshooters in the state, Adams is concluding a regular season where she played in 23 games while averaging 17.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, three assists and 2.5 steals per contest. Adams was a major factor in St. Joseph's Catholic advancing to the 3A Upper State championship last season and her team has what it takes to make an even deeper run in this year's playoffs.

Speaking of Evies, another one also put herself in the record books. That Evie is Godfrey who is concluding her first season at 5A Division 1 River Bluff. She recently approached the 1,000-point plateau for her noteworthy career. Godfrey was one of two Gators to earn All-Region honors. She reached her feat on Feb. 10 when River Bluff matched up against Dutch Fork. With the regular season in the books, Godfrey now looks ahead to the 5A Division 1 tournament. The first round of said playoffs will see River Bluff hosting a first-round playoff matchup for the first time in six years. The Gators' opening round foe will be the Patriots of Fort Dorchester.

Speaking of Dutch Fork, the Silver Foxes are poised to once again be one of the toughest outs in the upcoming 5A Division 1 state playoffs in large part because of Crumlin's play. The veteran big is not only a scorer – she is also a rebounder, and she recently ascended to the 600-rebound plateau for her career. Crumlin is one of two team co-captains for the Silver Foxes. She first played at the varsity level as an eighth grader and averaged a double-double of 13.3 points and 10.5 rebounds plus 2.4 steals and 2.3 blocks per contest. The Silver Foxes finished the regular season with a 17-5 record plus a 9-1 region mark.

The field for the upcoming SCISA playoffs is yet to be determined as its regular season is reaching its apex but expect for Hammond to make its presence known in the upcoming 4A tournament. McMillan has been a difference maker as she recently reached 1,500 points for her career. Thanks to McMillan, Hammond has catapulted from a one-win 2024-25 to 16 victories this season. Among those 16 wins have been eight against region foes. The Skyhawks have a big matchup coming up this Tuesday against Ben Lippen to decide its region, but the rest of the SCISA 4A field has to watch out for McMillan and these soaring Skyhawks.

Blackwell is concluding her high school career with an exclamation point. Not only has she achieved 1,000 points for her career, she also eclipsed the 1,000-rebound mark as well. Southside Christian is concluding a 2025-26 season that saw the Sabres finish with a 20-3 overall record in addition to a mark of 8-2 to finish second in Region 2-AAA. Blackwell's play has also lifted the Sabres to a ranking of sixth in the most recent coaches' poll of 3A teams. Southside Christian will begin this season's 3A state tournament at home hosting Union County this Tuesday. Blackwell has also competed in track and field throughout her athletic career.

Since being on the wrong end of a 65-53 defeat on Jan. 13 to 5A Division 2 Greenville, 5A Division 1 Mauldin has reeled off 10 consecutive victories entering tournament play. One of those victories occurred on Feb. 4 against Easley when Leamon reached the 1,500-point mark for her career. The Mavericks recently received a ranking of fourth in the most recent poll of 5A Division 1 teams. The commit to Division I Morgan State has played in all 23 games this season and averaged 20.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game. Leamon already won a state championship three years ago with Mauldin and her Mavericks are a legitimate threat to be the last 5A Division 1 team standing this year.

Gaffney may have suffered an unceremonious early exit from last season's 5A Division 2 tournament, but the Indians have responded by putting together another stellar 20-win campaign in 2025-26. Harris, who will soon transition to her collegiate career with Division I Gardner-Webb, eclipsed the 1,500-point mark. Gaffney concluded the regular season with a 20-6 overall record and a second-place finish in its region courtesy of an 11-3 record. The Indians were also ranked fifth in the most recent poll of 5A Division 2 teams.
