Ella Jameson came onto the Varsity high school floor this past Winter and did well at holding her own near the bucket with her mixture of size and physicality. We saw Jameson during her 8th grade season and she was really raw in her ability. As a Freshman, she has progressed a good amount with her hand-eye coordination but she is still working to be the best version of herself out there. This is a name we are going to hear out of the CR area for the next three years. Her pure size and ability to learn in a short amount of time is impressive and it should get even better over time. She is one of the taller prospects out of the state so as long as she can work on her weakness in her off-tine, she is going to turn out to be one heck of a baller at the end of her career.

We heard Zellmer's name called a couple of times this Winter for Hinton High School as she gave her best effort within a seasoned program. Zellmer is going to have a big role this upcoming winter so it's good that she is getting some run this Spring with AIA out of DSM. This is a hooper that stands at 5'8 with lengthy arms, quick hands, and active feet. She usually makes settle plays that help her team in the long run but those plays don't always necessary show up in the stat book. We are talking about things like deflections, tips, diving on the floor for loose balls, and stuff of that nature. All in all, Zellmer will someone out of the 2A Class this upcoming season to note moving into the year. Their program is going to have a few spots to fill and Zellmer is ready for the opportunities.

T. Jones was a vital piece to her DCG program's success this Winter. Jones stepped on the floor early on in the year and demonstrated that she can make big shots in big moments. She primarily worked off of the ball on the outside, always being ready to catch and shoot from distance but she also showed that she can score by the bucket on either side with either hand, depending on the situation. Defensively, she is good with her side-to-side movement and that leads to a lot of success in her 1v1 matchups. DCG always brings the fire during the Winter season so I'm expecting Jones to become even better as she gets older within this system.

I really hope that Deidra Doeden ends up playing Basketball at the collegiate level once she gets there. She is good enough as a 6'1 Center, to be able to help several programs across the Midwest at a few different Division levels. Doeden popped onto the scene at the start of her Sophomore year. That's when she really started to produce at an undeniable rate. If you are talking about what she can bring to the floor, it's size, dedication to the game, soft hands, coordinated footwork, and a great passing ability whenever she is overloaded with defenders in her space. I feel like this is a player that most coaches are going to sleep on but you shouldn't. She knows what she is doing and she has really only hit the tip of the iceberg.

Ella Otten was someone that Bishop Heelan could rely in this season, even if they didn't need to. Otten is a 5'8 SG with a sweet shooting stroke and great situational awareness. She can handle while attacking off the dribble for either a look at the bucket herself or for a crafty assist. This ability makes it possible for her to move between the 1, 2, or even 3, depending on who is with her on the court at that given time. Bishop is going to come back as the 4A favorites this upcoming season and I can't wait to see how they handle that coming off of a State run the year before.
