About Kaja

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a fast, lock-down defender with a high accuracy from behind the three point line and a slashing style of play that gets me to the free throw line often. I am typically at the point guard position and leading defense, but I frequently slide to the shooting guard position and as-needed, play a wing as I have a knack for rebounding and ability to guard larger players.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have been playing since I could walk, typically with older players and have had to fight my way onto the court and to stay on the court. I am mentally tough and have been playing at the varsity level since I was 12. I lead by example, but I am a vocal leader on and off the court and I have the coaches voice in my ear from buzzer to buzzer.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in the National Honor Society and I am involved in a number of charitable organizations and I am involved in a number of ministries through my church. I have not received any non-sport awards other than academics.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a leader on and off the court, some of which is natural, some of which is learned. I enjoy working with my teammates as we continually push each other and make each other better. I volunteer at a homeless shelter with my family as well as a crisis pregnancy center and a ministry that serves women trapped in trafficking.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I believe that I can handle most challenges in stride. There are so many people who have challenges great than I do so I am grateful for the situation I am in and do my best to serve others where I can.

What type of college are you looking for?

I enjoy science, math and business. No matter what happens, an excellent college education is a priority for me. I am looking for a program that not only invests in players, but expects players to invest back in the program. I believe my path is to a high level D1 program both for academics and for athletics. I want my college experience to be a launching point for an exciting and fulfilling car

The All Iowa Attack guard was a nonstop force on both ends of the floor at the PGH Expo. On offense Nash showed off her abilities as a true three-level scorer, displaying her silky smooth jumper and finishing at the rim with a high degree of finesse. The Wayzata junior made numerous high IQ plays and dropped dime passes to her teammates in the half court. On the defensive end Kaja’s lateral quickness and continuous effort help make her a lockdown defender, particularly on the perimeter. A top 25 prospect in the 2027 class, Nash is likely to make a big impact in her second season with the Trojans.
