The Labor Day She Got Game Combine held at Elizabeth Seton had around 40 players participating in drills and games over a three and a half hour period. Trainer Keith “Shot Doc” Veney led the session assisted by Shamon Atrum and Darren McLinton. Rising juniors competed along side 6th graders with the last hour consisting of live play. At the end of the day several players were able to stand out amongst the group and they all in where able to take skills away that will help their games improve overall.
Most Outstanding Player
Jayla Tucker – 5’9″ – Wing – Earnest Just – 2024
Jayla was the unanimous selection for Most Outstanding Player by the staff and high school coaches that were in the building. She controlled the flow of the game and shot the ball consistently throughout the day. She finished well when attacking and played well with her teammates. She won the award despite competing against high school sophomores and juniors.
Courtney White – 6’2″ – Post – Woodrow Wilson – 2021
Courtney WhiteCourtney was physical inside and used her big body well to finish inside. Once she got the ball in the paint there wasn’t anyone in the building that was able to stop her from scoring. She was strong on the offensive glass.
Tori Woodley – 5’11” – Post – Brookland MS – 2025
Tori WoodleyTori has tremendous size for a 7th grader and was dominant inside when she touched the ball. She was strongly considered for the MOP award. Despite her size she runs the floor very well. She has good hands catching in traffic and finishing. She also rebounded very well.
Laila Carson – 5’4″ – Guard – Bishop McNamara – 2021
Laila CarsonLaila was impressive in the drill work. She showed an advanced level of skill and a nice shooting form. She was unselfish in games as she looked to get her teammates involved.
Chyanne Harris – 5’0″ – Combo Guard – CMIT South – 2025
Chyanne was probably the most skilled player in the building. She excelled in the drill work and she showed a very good mid range shot. As she gets taller and stronger she will be very hard to stop in games.

Ciara Dexter – 5’8″ – Post – White Oak MS – 2024
Ciara DexterCiara was good with her back to the basket but she also showed the ability to face up in drills. Her shooting touch and ball handling was good enough to start making the transition to the wing.
