Ellee, a post player on Kenzie and Karie’s team, was selected as the team’s MVP after a strong performance at the Northwood Elite Camp. Already holding an offer from Northwood, Ellee showed why she continues to be a player to watch throughout the 5-on-5 action. She ran the floor hard in transition, consistently getting rewarded with scoring opportunities, and was active on the glass. Ellee also excelled as a rim runner, creating pressure around the basket and giving her team a strong interior presence. Her ability to rebound, run the floor, and finish plays made for a strong showing at the camp.

Ellee was one of the 2028 players who caught my attention at Grand Valley Elite Camp, just as she has throughout the AAU season. Playing for Team 1, she showcased the complete skill set you like to see in a post player. Ellee finished well around the basket, used her size to rebound effectively on both ends of the floor, and showed a soft touch with a nice mid-range jumper. She also demonstrated her versatility by stepping out and knocking down a three-pointer from the wing, proving she can stretch the floor when needed. Already holding an offer from Grand Valley, Ellee continued to show exactly why the Lakers believed in her early. Her ability to score in multiple ways while making an impact on the glass made her one of the more impressive post players in attendance.

Ellee, a post player for Midland, had a productive and versatile showing at Northwood Team Camp, impacting the game on both ends of the floor. She protected the rim well, finishing the day with multiple blocks and altering shots around the basket with her presence inside. Offensively, she showed touch in the paint with a tough turnaround jumper that proved difficult for defenders to stop. Ellee also expanded her game to the perimeter, knocking down a three-pointer from the top of the key. She drew contact and converted an and-one opportunity, while also staying active on the glass with numerous offensive rebounds that led to put-back scores. Her ability to defend, rebound, and score in multiple ways made her a steady interior force throughout the day.

Ellee has developed into a versatile forward prospect. When you have 6 foot plus length, run the floor well, have good hands, skilled footwork in the post, and soft finishing touch around the basket, that puts you on a higher plane as a forward. In addition to those qualities, Ellee has developed into a perimeter threat. She stepped outside to knock down threes, used the glass very well to score in traffic, and made good cuts to the basket for high-percentage looks and layups at CMU Team Camp for Midland.

Ellee came into the PGH MI College Tour as Michigan’s top-ranked power forward prospect in the 2028 class, and that’s how she played for Mystics 16U P24. Ellee sprinted up the floor in transition and finished well with both hands. She dominated the offensive glass, scoring many putbacks, protected the rim with multiple blocks, threw smart skip passes out of the high post to open shooters for assists, cut backdoor to score layups, and showed off her footwork in the post.

Averaged 14.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 1.8 assists per game, while shooting 60% from two and 30% from three. Ellee’s length, footwork, mobility, rebounding effort, fundamental skills, rim protection, scoring versatility inside/mid-range/perimeter, make her the top forward prospect in this class.

Ellee has mobility, length, and skill in the post that few forwards can match. She finishes confidently using either hand, creates space with her long strides/pivots, makes contested catches, can disrupt shots inside or on the perimeter, and runs the floor to create transition offense. Ellee scores through contact and contributes mightily on the offensive glass. She’s consistently performing at a high level for Midland.

Ellee elevated in the second half of Monday’s win at Hartland–she was unstoppable in the paint. Ellee anchored herself with strong seals, caught entry passes with soft hands, and finished effectively off two feet. She dropped in a smooth baby hook over a defender in front of the rim and a strong offensive rebound put-back through a foul. Ellee created separation with a sweet spin move inside to score a layup off two feet and worked hard to grab rebounds on both ends. She energized the team with an emphatic block and led Midland with 17 points.

Ellee is poised for a standout sophomore season at Midland, bringing a valuable blend of size, agility, and polished fundamentals to the frontcourt. Her strong footwork and soft touch near the basket make her a reliable scorer inside, while her constant activity allows her to impact the game on both ends. As she continues to expand her face-up and perimeter skills, her potential becomes even more impressive. With her physical tools and growing versatility, Ellee is on track to draw even more college attention and establish herself as one of the top young forwards in the region.

Ellee secured a top ten ranking and is our #1 center because she has the length, mobility, and fundamental skills necessary to be a high-level forward prospect. Her footwork, finishing touch around the rim, and high motor are all areas of strength. Ellee is developing her perimeter game, and I expect to see more high offers coming her way in the future.
