Madison recognized a mismatch advantage on the offensive end with a 6-foot teammate in the high post being defended by a guard, gave her a quick head nod, threw the lob, and picked up an assist. She penetrated off the dribble, got to the third level, forced the help side to commit, then made the correct extra pass out to the perimeter for an assist on a corner three. I made a note of “good vision”, but Madison also created her own shot. She finished a smooth reverse layup, pushed the ball on a fast break, got to two feet, absorbed the contact, then finished with her left. It looked like Madison dropped the ball from the ceiling when she buried a high arcing shot from the elbow off a screen that fell straight through the net. She’s crafty as they come and used a lightning-quick pocket crossover dribble to get by with burst, then completed the play with a left-handed stretch finish in traffic.

Madison showcased her ability to create offense throughout the Northwood Elite Camp, using her quickness, creativity, and aggressive style to keep defenders on their heels. During 3-on-3 action, she used a quick crossover to get by her defender and create scoring opportunities, while a smooth Rondo move proved nearly impossible to defend. Madison also showed strong court vision, delivering a great pass out of a pick-and-roll, and she consistently attacked the lane with good body control through traffic. She added a step-back mid-range jumper to her scoring arsenal and continued to attack aggressively during 5-on-5 play, where she was difficult to contain and collected numerous offensive rebounds. Her ability to create, score, and battle for extra possessions made her one of the 2028 guards who caught my attention at camp.

Madison checks the boxes as a cerebral, athletic, shifty, fundamentally skilled, and physically compact guard who hits that 5-6/5-7 threshold you like to have at the higher levels running the one spot. Madison delivered two solid days for Eisenhower at BCAM Reaching Higher. She slashed to the hoop for a contested finish off two and dumped the ball off for an assist after forcing the help to commit to her dribble. Madison made a smooth transfer off a backdoor cut for an in-stride catch and finish off two. She drained a smooth wing three and impacted the game with her defensive prowess. Madison jumped a pass on the perimeter for a swipe and score, then went right back to the well for a tip, steal, and fast break left finish off two feet.
