It’s always interesting whenever a prospect from a smaller school comes into to play with some higher Class level kids but in Elody England’s situation she has been producing at such a high rate for her Iowa Falls-Alden program that I don’t think she will miss a beat this AAU season with Lady Pure Prep AAU. England is mainly a SG but she does a little bit of everything. She rebounds hard, she defends like her life depends on it, she is always communicating at a high rate, she always makes the extra pass when possible, and she is someone that everyone enjoys being around as a competitor. All of those factors lead to a prospect that can make some things happen when they need to and that’s something you have to respect.

England is their team’s driving force as a SG/PG. Literally and metaphorically. England is leading her team with near 20 PPG, she is bringing in right around 8 RPG, and she is dishing out the most APG with 3.3 as we move into the month of February. England does so well offensively because she knows how to get hit and how to get to the line. She is one of the state’s top free throw shooters in makes/attempts because she is the type that won’t take no for an answer. Once she knows the defenses weakness, she stays on that and works it until the end of the contest. England thrives through contact and that is not something you can say about most.
