Creighton contributed in multiple areas when Jefferson pulled off an upset of Iowa City High late in the regular season. The sophomore brings a sound all-around game to the court, allowing for her to provide the team with whatever it needs at a given time. On this night, Creighton ran the point at times, looking smooth and efficient in doing so. Her long arms help her score from all three levels and defend multiple positions. A good athlete with lateral quickness and jumping ability, Creighton rebounds and runs the floor well. It feels like she’s still figuring it out, which is exciting because the ceiling is significant.

  Evie Creighton Evie Creighton 5'6" | CG/SG CR - Jefferson | 2028 State IA is another name that everyone might not know but she has some sizzle to her skill-set. Creighton is a game manager. Someone who can score the rock if need be but she is really at her best when she is running her team’s system on either end of the floor. She understands pace of play and how to set up the others around her for success, which is always nice to see from a prospect at a younger age. I expect Creighton to take over and be a force on her CR – Jefferson team over the next two years. She has all the intangibles to do so, now it’s all about putting the pen to the paper and getting it done. 

There is a lot to like about Evie Creighton Evie Creighton 5'6" | CG/SG CR - Jefferson | 2028 State IA of CR – Jefferson High School and All Iowa Attack AAU. Creighton is a quick-thinking guard, that is skilled as a SG or PG. She can either be the one that needs to run the offensive system or she can play off the ball and be a scoring threat at all times. In my book, she is more of a natural SG than most others but she is also such a good handler of the basketball that she can consistently bring it up if need be. Creighton came to both days of this event and showed off her skill-set. She left a lasting impression on the coaching staffs as I’m sure she is going to be someone we hear more about over these next six months on the road. She consistently impacts the game on both sides of the ball and that is obvious.
