Physical low post presence with a quality all around skillset. Has a nice half hook type shot, that was money in the 8 to 10 foot range. Even stepped out and hit the occasional three pointer. A promising sign for Carrington at her new high school is her ability to pass out of the high post. Can hit cutting teammates with nice feeds. Which should also translate to good high-low chemistry with fellow senior post

I have mentioned Jaelynn in a previous article when I had the opportunity to see her play at OU team camp. Carrington transfers to Norman North from Moore. A perfect high post player that has soft shooting touch 15 feet out and is a good passing skills in a high/low game. The footwork is very solid on the low block when posting up. Great understanding of how to use her powerful base to move the defender gaining the baseline advantage. Aggressive rebounder that could get you that 10 a game.
The addition of Carrington takes the pressure off returning center

from being doubled teamed every night. She looked like she found the right system this summer and will be a good fit in Norman North game plan. Jaelynn has the potential to have a breakout senior campaign.

worked together great Tuesday in the high low combo. A nice high post shot that keep the defense honest and not playing back. Excelled in the pic and roll action not allowing the defense to switch. A 2026 that shows the potential to have a good season with a new team and new coach.

is a strong post that has nice nice footwork in the low post. Good hands and positions herself in a scoring situation before she catches the ball Showed good drop step move to either baseline or middle. The post moves were smooth even with defense banging on her. Jaelyn went 100% on every play. The tougher the competition the more she elevated her game. Jaelyn is going to have a breakout year this season

Jaelyn has great size at the forward position. As a 2026 she competed among several top tier players in the 2025 class. She has a strong base, good hands and does not mind getting physical when inside. She understand help defense which allows the guards to pressure knowing that she is there to help. Jaelyn plays with a hard work ethic and her game will continue to grow. Watch out this lung lady will be a beast in the paint
