About Kaiya

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

I have an explosive first step and change direction and pace smoothly. This serves me well on both ends of the court.

What are you working to improve right now?

Strength and agility training 3x a week and basketball training 4x a week. Handling, finishing, creating space, passing, shooting. Always working with a 1% growth mindset.

What are you looking for in a college program?

Intensity in training and practice. Winning mindset. Structured schedule. Team first culture.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

I have above a 4.0 GPA and am taking Honors/AP courses. I have close to a perfect attendance record because I believe showing up matters. I have a lot of energy and a positive outlook on life.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I am exploring career path courses in school currently. As of now, Business and Marketing interest me the most.
