+1 – Shining with the Minnesota Fury this summer and at the PGH Sophomore ID Camp last month, Willis (pictured above) has been continuously raising her game to new heights year after year. A quick and crafty floor general with an outstanding basketball IQ, Kiera has recently garnered the attention of several Division 1 programs, earning offers from Fairfield, Utah State, and St. Thomas over the past few months. Now in her sophomore season at Benilde-St. Margaret’s, the 5’8 combo guard will play a crucial role for the Red Knights this season as they look to earn their fifth consecutive class 3A state title. Willis rises one position, entering the top 5 for the first time.

Willis shined as one of our standout performers during the summer AAU tournaments. At the Sophomore ID Camp, she showed up in a big way once again. Blending a sharp basketball IQ with a fierce competitive mindset, her game is built on solid fundamentals and sharp court sense. What truly sets her apart, though, is her presence on the floor. Throughout the day, Kiera’s voice filled the gym, whether she was rallying teammates, boosting her own energy, or cheering from the bench. She approaches the fundamentals with humility, yet her infectious enthusiasm makes every player on the court enjoy the game even more, which is what basketball is all about.

#6: As the Prep Girls Hoops 2029 AAU Breakout Player of the Year, it’s clear that Willis is on a major upward trajectory. The quick, crafty guard, who played up one year for the Minnesota Fury this summer, is an offensive dynamo who can hit shots off the catch-and-shoot or just as easily create her own look off the dribble. Kiera brings a calm, business-like demeanor to the court, while also playing with a fiery, competitive spirit. The Benilde-St. Margaret’s freshman has an innate feel for the game, a tireless work ethic, and a serious amount of finesse. There is no doubt that Willis will be a crucial component for the Red Knights this winter as a 9^th grader.
