Naomi Gill Naomi Gill 5'9" | SG/PG Tocoi Creek | 2029 FL put on a class on “how to be impactful as a Freshman” on Day One of the Inside Exposure tournament. I sat with a college coach who understood why her coach would run isolation plays with the young guard. Gill hit from the top, the elbow, took the opponent to the rim and scored in the paint. One play that comes to mind was a penetration move into the paint, then a jump stop, head fake, and a spin followed by the left hand (off-hand) finish. Gill showed why she is one of the top Freshman on not just the First Coast, but in the State of Florida. Her defense was also on point- showing quickness, cutting off driving angles, and showcasing excellent lateral movement as she wreaked havoc on opposing guards. Gill delivered an impressive performance in her very first high school tournament. A Statement was made- and with an exclamation!
