Expert Analysis
Brandon Fisher | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Breanna used her frame and physicality to make a consistent impact throughout the game I watched. The lefty forward did a great job on the glass and came away with offensive boards by establishing position early and using her strong base to hold ground. She showed touch from the mid-range and proved she can knock down the 10+-foot jumper when given space. Breanna also displayed a good understanding of spacing. On one possession, she spaced herself away perfectly as a teammate drove into the paint which led to a bounce pass and an easy basket. Her combination of size, strength, and feel for the game allowed her to contribute in a variety of ways as a young post prospect.

brings impressive size and athleticism to the court, and it doesn’t take long to see the potential she possesses. She has already shown flashes of what she can become with her ability to rebound and compete physically in the paint. Smith attacks the boards with purpose, uses her strength well in traffic, and provides a strong physical presence on the floor. In the few opportunities I’ve had to watch her during summer and fall league play, she has flashed signs of being dominant, showing the ability to control the paint and make her presence felt on both ends of the floor. As she continues to develop her skills and gain experience, she has the tools to become a highly impactful post player.

is an impressive young prospect who made her presence felt recently at the Women of the Day showcase. Williams was aggressive on both ends of the floor. She battled inside and secured rebounds and finished strong on put-backs, then followed with back-to-back blocks that shifted the flow of the game. Her size, athleticism, activity level, and overall impact stood out — especially for a freshman competing at the varsity level. She is definitely a 2029 prospect to watch.
