Sydney will be one of the biggest ranking risers after a massive day for Team 6 at the PGH Michigan Expo. Her athleticism, fundamentally sound skill set, two-way impact, solid length as a guard, and lights-out accuracy from beyond the arc separated her at the event. She was a two-way impact player, moving her feet quickly to stop drives, swiping the ball away in the post, and disrupting passing lanes. Sydney made smart backdoor reads/cuts and finished with excellent touch around the basket. She scored multiple layups off quick dribble drives and off basket cuts. Sydney made it look easy from the outside. She ripped the nets with four threes during my time observing, shooting lights out from the wings and the corners. Sydney had great chemistry with her Detroit Country Day teammate and looks ready for a monster sophomore season.

Sydney is a guard with athletic quickness and a variety of skills. She used all of them to make an all-around impact on the court for Team 3 at the Freshman Showcase. Sydney was active in the passing lanes, creating steals on the defensive end. She snagged a defensive board and fired the ball up the court for an assist. Sydney drained an elbow jumper off the dribble and split defenders with a hard left-handed drive to score off two feet. Her passing vision, confident ball-handling, defensive effort, and playmaking skills will be fun to watch at Country Day this winter.
