Katie showed toughness and confidence throughout the night at the Prep Girls Hoops MI State Showcase while competing with Team 2. Despite being one of the younger players on the floor, she never looked overwhelmed and competed hard every possession. Offensively, her quick first step allowed her to beat defenders off the dribble and get into the paint consistently. One of her best plays came when she attacked the basket, blew past her defender, and finished with a smooth reverse layup at the rim. Katie played with aggressiveness and poise, showing the ability to create scoring opportunities while holding her own against older competition.
