Recruiting News and Notes for July

Recruiting season is in full force and while offers are coming fast and furious, so are commitments. Here’s a look at the latest recruiting news from across the Commonwealth. <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>New Offers:</strong></span> [player_tooltip player_id="254273" first="ZaKiyah" last="Johnson"] continues to rack up offers from nearly every school in America. Her latest offers are from Baylor, Arkansas, West Virginia, Mississippi State, Kansas State, Notre Dame, Dayton and Oregon. [player_tooltip player_id="167106" first="Trinity" last="Rowe"]’s latest offer comes from Radford. She continues to be a big recruit in the 24 class. GRC star [player_tooltip player_id="164386" first="Brianna" last="Byars"] added an offer from Eastern Kentucky this past weekend. Jacksonville State has also offered recently. 2025 star [player_tooltip player_id="254279" first="Leah" last="Macy"] has earned an offer from DePaul Georgetown offered [player_tooltip player_id="167104" first="Audrey" last="Biggs"] of Boyd County. [player_tooltip player_id="164408" first="Ka’Niah" last="Edelen"] has been offered by Spalding. That’s her first offer. [player_tooltip player_id="167099" first="Shaelyn" last="Steele"] earned an offer from Penn State this past week. Marshall has offered [player_tooltip player_id="231487" first="Mariah" last="Knight"]. [player_tooltip player_id="255504" first="Noelle" last="Hubert"] has been offered by nearby NKU. Warren Central’s Jordyn Downey was offered by Brescia last week. Ashland’s [player_tooltip player_id="231465" first="Ella" last="Sellars"] has been offered by Pikeville. Lawrence County’s Brooke Neal has earned an offer from Brescia. Principia College has offered [player_tooltip player_id="164401" first="Kaela" last="Ballard"] and Ashlyn Tingle. Brescia College also offered Brook Taylor of George Rogers Clark. Kentucky State offered [player_tooltip player_id="329465" first="Shaylah" last="Redmon"] of Nelson County last month. Kentucky State also offered [player_tooltip player_id="164388" first="Saniyah" last="Shelton"] of Bowling Green. Campbellsville-Harrodsburg offered Danville’s Love Mays. Kentucky Christian offered Floyd Central’s [player_tooltip player_id="164413" first="Kennedy" last="Harvel"]. [player_tooltip player_id="311967" first="Ciara" last="Byars"] earned another D1 offer as Eastern Kentucky offered her last month. &nbsp; <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Commitments:</strong></span> Mercy’s [player_tooltip player_id="164407" first="Emma" last="Barnett"] has made her commitment to Ohio. Lehigh earned the commitment of Cooper star [player_tooltip player_id="164390" first="Whitney" last="Lind"].
